After the melt-down last month, I tried recovering
by trying to make more art again... (Story of my life)
First attempt...I hated it!
It didn't do a thing for me.
My art friend (who also puts up my photos for my blog)
liked it so much (I don't understand why):

Then I received inspiration for two pieces that I liked better (see top of blog--"Broom" and "Music").
All in all.... these are still not the art I saw in my visions, but they are better than the others.
Otherwise, it's been a challenging month health-wise.
I think I've had a small series of mini strokes,
leaving me with lots of balance problems, losing words, etc.
Not good.
I found out something I didn't know (and I don't like this...)
For a number of years we have had families of quail visiting our property,
and I looked forward to seeing them every year.
Sad to say, they have a lot of enemies.
One I hadn't thought about...blue jays.
Those blue jays gang up and pick off the quail. ......very sad.
Out of four families of quail now there are only two left
and of the babies they had (18), now there are only 4 left.
I wish I knew a way to discourage the jays from attacking the quail.
In the meantime I had an interesting dream:
I WAS GIVEN A CEREMONY ! !
Here it is...
In the dream, I was at a lady's house.
I was explaining what was going to happen with the ceremony.
We gathered the things for the ceremony.
I had the lady lie down in a relaxed position.
I had my shamanic drum and sang my "crow song" (currently working on it),
then I took her right hand and put it into the bowl of water we had prepared.
Then I took each of her fingers and meditatively caressed each finger in the water.
I sang another shamanic song.
Then I took her hand out of the water and dried it off with the towel we had there.
Then I was given something to say ...I'm not sure if it was a prayer ...or...?
I then took her left foot and held it... saying something...(prayer)??
I then put her left foot into the bowl of water and caressed each toe like I did with her hand...
Was there another song?
Then I took her foot out of the water and dried it with the towel, also saying a prayer (or)?
Then we sang a closing song (the closing song I know).
That is it!!!
