While I do not think Jonathan has all the ideas - the statement as getting down and into whatever you need to do is imperative and necessary to succeed!

While I was not a high Grade point scholar - but I learned and can still use and apply the knowledge today!

Plus even though I saw or knew of cheating in some classes - I never cheated or bought grades! I believe that there is far too much importance put on the actual grades. Show me that you can function and can do the job - not just have a poster or certificate on the wall!

In other words - show me that you know and can do whatever. Do not just show me some jazzed up whoopee do computerized presentations! Anyone can pull up some presentation or borrow someone else's presentation. But only the actual application is the best proof that you can make it work correctly!
i.e. show me don't just tell me!
