Day 12
Date: 10/6/2018 3:23:19 AM ( 6 y ago)
So day 12 went really well. I have lots of energy. I am working nights so it is much easier to stay away from food. I sleep all day and go to work with a packed tea in my thermos and a great deal of water.
I have no nausea anymore which is great. My stomach does not growl and I am not hungry at all. My tongue is white and my mouth felt a bit chalky today but I used mouth wash and brushed my teeth about 3 times today. I am not having to use suppositories as I manage to have a small bowel movement each day. I have no idea where the waist is coming from haha.
This fast is going so much better than the last one. I really do feel great!! My clothes are fitting a lot better and people at work are beginning to ask me what I am doing. So I told them about my fasting and that I intend to do intermittent fasting and Keto diet back and forth until I lose all my weight.
I am sick of being fat and I want to ski in January at Whistler with my boyfriend and my sister.
And yup I said boyfriend!! It is hard not to be attracted to the man from my past who is gorgeous and pretty much sweeping me off my feet! Anyway I have been honest about my weight and my weight loss effort currently with him and to my surprise he is also heavy and is interested in losing too. So it might be a good support for me. We meet in January for the first time since 30 years ago, although we did exchange photos (he is gorgeous lol) but he always was...we both modeled in our 20's and skied professionally. We always had a lot in common and both have professional jobs with good pensions. Together we would have a very good future and retirement...ok ill let you know what happens in january lol.
Anyway, my plan is to go as long as I can on this fast, until the hunger comes back with a vengeance. And then take a 3 day break where I can break the fast with liquids and complete keto diet.
Then I am going to embark on the next one. So this will be interesting because if my body lets me continue, then I am going to keep going. I have never done a longer one than 14 days remember so this is a good experiment for me.
We will see how far I get. I did not weigh myself yet because I really don't want to know about the plateau. I have increased my bike riding per day to 40 minutes in the morning and again in the evening. I really find this quite enjoyable, surprisingly. As soon as I can run again, I will jog but I cant quite get on my knee yet. I am not limping anymore though on my knee which is a miracle in itself. They said I needed surgery but I was too big to do it. I said F everyone and I went to physio, refused the surgery and am walking fine on it now..although this weight loss has really helped that situation. This is a wake up call. I do not want to die of a heart attack or stroke and I do not want to be stuck to limping!!! Everyone has their rock bottom. This is my weight rock bottom..I have to change my whole attitude towards food, or lets face it, I am going to die early.
Ok so my weight loss stands at 42 pounds from a few days ago when I checked.
I will weigh myself soon.
