day 6

Hello again
OK so we are at day 6. Well, I slept well last night which is great!! Last night I smelled popcorn from upstairs and it was a nice smell but the thought of eating now turns my stomach. Also the cream in the tea is also turning my stomach so I am drinking tea black just once in the morning. I have increased my water intake because I was feeling dizzy which usually means I am dehydrated.

You have to constantly make yourself aware of your mental state during a fast because anxiety increases due to cleansing. Sometimes people start doubting what they are doing and come out of the fast. So I leave little reminders around or I bookmark research about fasting on my computer. Rereading the stages of fasting is a good thing to remind yourself that the symptoms you have are a normal part of the cleansing.

I also read blogs and look at the success stories out there..

Also a good solid plan should be devised prior to the fast about how to come off the fast safely. You cant just start eating normally again. It is really hard on your system to have carbs too. The longer the fast the longer should be the breaking the fast stage. When I start mine I eat liquid bouillon soups home made, vegetables and fish. But tiny portions when you are hungry and no carbs.
When I break this fast I will be going Keto after that to maintain weight loss.

ok so today I am on a plateau as I didn't lose weight so the cream has been cut out and I increased my bike riding time to 45 min per day, split in half with gentle exercises. And more water. I have a litre refillable bottle to sip on all day. Plateaus are normal and part of the process. Its important to not get discouraged. I found that the cream in my tea was keeping me out of full keto mode so now that I have stopped drinking cream with tea my tongue is very white which means I am in full keto!!

My weight remains at 319 with a loss of 23 pounds.
