================
Thinking of the tears of Christ; when he wept at Lazarus tomb, or the tears he shed over Jerusalem, or the crying that must have fallen in the Garden of Gethsemane for all people. He suffered so that many others might be saved - yet He now waits for you dear friend to come; that He may wipe away your tears for ever!

If we could just push aside the gates of life. And stand within to see all God's workings,
We would interpret all doubt and strife. And for each mystery find the key,
But Not Today; then be content, poor heart, God's plans like lilies pure and white unfold;
We must tear the closed shut leaves apart, Time will revel their calyxes of Gold.
And when after the patient toil we reach the land, Where tired feet and sandals loosed may rest.
When we shall clearly know and understand,
I know that we shall say God's way was best!
And God shall wipe away all tears from our eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things will have passed away! Revelation 21:4
