** Much has changed from the Old Testament to the New Testament **

Morality is!
People without a Biblical world-view believe that morality is relative.
They don’t believe in a Creator who will hold us accountable for our actions. They think morality changes with the times.
But the truth is we have a Creator who has the right to tell us what is right and
what is wrong.
He created us and the Bible is His “owner’s manual.”
We are accountable to Him and will one day stand before Him and give an answer for our actions
(Matthew 12:36;
Romans 14:12;
First Peter 4:5).
Much has changed from the
Old Testament to the
New Testament.
Our judgment was placed upon Jesus and we are not under
the curse of the Old
Testament Law
(Galatians 3:13).
We can be purged from things from which the people in the Old Testament could not be cleansed
(Acts 13:39).
Much of the symbolism and
ceremonies of the Old Testament Law have found their fulfillment in Christ
(Colossians 2:16-17).
But right and wrong hasn’t changed.
And our God has not changed (Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8). His dealings with mankind are now with a grace that
wasn’t prominent in the
Old Testament but the
standard of morality
He gave in His word is still the same today.
The ten commandments God gave Moses in Exodus 20:1-17 are the foundation of all morality.
#1 We are not to have any
other god before Him.
Obviously, this instructs us to be mono-theistic. There is only One God
(Isaiah 46:9), manifest in three persons;
Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
(1 Timothy 3:16)
