Pinworms??

I have been experiencing intense rectal itching throughout the day for about a month. It has increased in intensity (started from once a day to several times a day). I assumed that I had pinworms and approximately one week back took Albendazole 400mg. However, the itching persists. Does anybody know what this can be?
