Who or what do you esteem, honor or admire most?

We all have things and people whom we admire! This is natural.

The question we must answer is Why?

There are many reasons and purposes. Some are natural and basic, while many others are the product of worldly influences. Our choices should be based upon that which first is for our best and truthfully most important in our eternal existence!

This is where most people go astray and start down a road of destruction, lust, and shame! Let's look at some of the better things which you should esteem or admire:

1) The Lord God because through the Lord Jesus He has established the Holy Scriptures to help guide us.

2) Close family and friends who share and care about the better things in our existence here on earth.

3) Neighbors, associates, classmates, fellow workers, and many of our fellow travelers upon our pathway of life.

Then on the far end of the association spectrum - would be casual friends, occasional people we meet, most of you classmates and fellow associates.

At the extream end of your contacts or people of interest would be the so-called famous, well known in the public eye, sports figures, politicians, and most of the other movers and shakers!

If there is any worldly guide then the Mass Media, and other mass use systems today would be questionable also. Because the methods and reasons for most of their information is to sway you into thinking their way! But if you have the truth and reason before you then you would not venture down that road of confusion and doubt or even to the point of a total sell out!

The fact comes down to who and or what you esteem?

With the right choices, your life will become much better and can help shape your future - stop thing about the past it is gone and there is little you can do about it now!

" Seek first the Kingdom of God {the source of absolute truth}, and His righteousness {which is found in the mission of Jesus the Christ} and all the other things will be added {or available } unto you! Matt 6:33.

*** From Wikipedia:

Jesus has just told his followers not to worry about material things such as food or clothing, as God will provide the needs of his followers. Earlier in the chapter, Jesus presented a discussion on how one must not pursue wealth and material things before God. This verse ties the two notions together. If one places the pursuit of the Kingdom of God first, then material needs will follow without the need for worry or anxiety. The present imperative verb seek makes clear that pursuing the eschatological kingdom is not a passive act, but one that must be pursued with rigor. Hill notes that the word God is left out of many of the better early manuscripts of the Gospel, and it thus might be a later addition. The Kingdom of God is a somewhat unusual phrase, with the author of Matthew generally preferring the Kingdom of Heaven. Even without the word, it is quite clear that this is a reference to the Kingdom of God.[2] The parallel to this verse at Luke 12:31 does not mention righteousness, but as France notes the author of Matthew shows a special interest in righteousness throughout his gospel.[3]
Interpretation
The interpretation or meaning of this verse may be a subjective matter. However, the common perception is speaking of prioritization, in which one who is a believer is to place God above all other things.

This does not mean that you can not like, some simple or temporary things in life but reserve the Esteem and Honor for the most important things!

What you esteem or honor will direct your life either for good or bad!

Choose wisely and then follow the truth found in your heart!
