How the modern Education System failed?

Just had discussion the past few days, about the modern education
{or should we say lack of it} system in the USA...

There was a study on the top college grads who made the " A " s, and were recognized being the Valedictorians and many other class leaders. Looking into how they fared or what they did as to any great contributions to society or the world in general - it was not all that superior! Much of the Western World's education systems appear to be built upon just passing tests {Making the administrators statistics look good } and not actually learning anything of
lasting value! = i.e. a constructive dilemma!

Actually many of the " C " students appeared to gotten out and provided the real successful development and contributions of more useful items for the society -
{ in the USA.} Than the so called top student leaders in both High School and College....

Much of this shows that modern higher education does not really prepare most students for becoming a progressive, productive and valuable person in the society in general.

The present education system seems to fail in preparing students in how to think and reason on their own. Nor does it really teach the firm basics {or real truthful and honest standards} by preparing the students on becoming a well rounded person and providing a service both to self and country {community}..

We need to get the young people into learning how to reason, explore and develop their talents for the betterment of the country!

The education system should be building young people who will be able to stand on their own and have the necessary skills to preform the day to day tasks needed in life!
