Forbidding: How would I do without my mechanic?

He was MIA for at least a week.

It was very disconcerting.

I would not feel at ease driving from San Diego
to Santa Rosa without his making sure the EG Mobile, my 68 VW van, was roadworthy.


I have had two jumps in the last 24 hours on my battery. I had to take the EG Mobile into Jack, down the street.

I am getting a new battery.
They are waiting for the delivery.

More expensive.
