What I learned about Acne and how healing your gut can cure it and other related symptoms.

Okay, I am just going to be as brief as possible to attempt to help others who may be suffering as I have over the past 5 years. I will try to answer questions, but can’t say how quickly I will be able to get back to anyone.

First off, I learned a lot about true health over the last 5 years. I learned that ACNE is not a real medical condition, it’s a symptom of one of many different medical conditions, and it is about 95% internal (NOT external). This is why there is no one cure that will ever work for everyone and why taking 15 showers a day will not get rid of the problem. You MUST address the internal cause of the problem, in my case this was my gut. I had what is referred to as a “leaky gut.” Don’t tell you doctor this because he will probably tell you there is no such thing. This is because medical doctors know very little about true health and next to nothing about nutrition. They do know a whole lot about quick fixes like medications and surgery. There is also a BIG problem with our American health care system being profit driven, but please do not get me started on that ginormous subject.

My Problem (or more accurately, one symptom of my leaky gut): Relentless adult-onset cystic acne all over.

I tried the doctors and about everything else you can think of before I found what worked for me, and I sincerely hope that it will work for you also. If you do have a leaky gut it will likely affect your cognitive function (brain fog, depression, anxiety, etc.). It will also likely produce liver/ gall stones which will have a big impact on most of your bodies organs including: digestive tract, liver, brain, skin, and possibly others. Chronic fatigue is also a possible symptom of a leaky gut. Bad Breath is another common symptom.

If you also have a leaky gut, you will have to address the liver stones at some point, but I strongly suggest addressing the gut first and foremost because it is the primary problem. Please look up how to do a liver purge when you are ready for that step as I will not be going into detail about that, but a congested liver can also cause acne and MANY other chronic symptoms.

I am going to just list what I have done to heal my leaky gut and get healthy overall. I will put the treatments in the order of what I think are the most effective in treating the specific condition of leaky gut, not in the order of what I did in my efforts to figure this all out. I’m not going to go into great detail for each treatment to keep things brief as I am sure you are capable of looking each one up.

PRIMARY Treatments:
-Activated Charcoal: Get the powder activated charcoal and take 1 tablespoon mixed in water at bedtime every night.
- Eliminate all Dairy (Casein) and Gluten! completely until you are cured. These are very agitating to your gut and will not allow you to heal.
-Coconut oil & lemonade fasts: Do monthly three-day-long fasts where you consume nothing but cold pressed coconut oil mixed with real lemonade made with real lemon juice. You may use a little Stevia to sweeten it if you like. Absolutely no sugar!!! If you get nausea, add some sea salt to the mix. Look up “die off” so you understand it. Coconut oil has many healing properties that I won’t get into.
- You must take digestive enzymes with all meals if you have a leaky gut, especially meals containing PHYTASE to break down phytic acid (in nuts, whole grains, ect.)
-Turmeric: Eat as much as you can! I grow it in my garden and add handfuls of the root directly to smoothies every morning. Try to find organic and put in in any food that you can. I use the root form, the powder form, and even supplement with the active ingredient: curcumin. This stuff is GREAT for many issues both physical and mental. There is now research proving its effectiveness in treating cancer and depression among other conditions.
-Eliminate Ibuprofen and all other gut irritants like alcohol, caffeine, etc. Your gut cannot heal unless you stop picking at the scab, so to speak.
-Eliminate GMO foods!

Secondary Treatments:
-Avoid processed foods
-Lots of Liver purges and even more coffee enemas to purge your liver/gallbladder and detox. Do a liver purge every 1 to 2 months, not more. I personally did coffee enemas daily at first, then weekly. I also did them the morning after every liver purge to get the purged toxins out. I also used P&B shakes after every liver purge to assist in getting all of those nasty purged toxins out. Purges are no fun at all, but one of the very best ways to improve your health. It is highly recommended to cleanse you digestive tract of possible parasites and/or compacted fecal matter before doing the purges to make sure they are effective.
- Use Probiotics
- A vegan diet is advised, but, not necessary for leaky gut. A vegan diet is highly advised for many medical conditions and overall health. Remember to use a digestive enzyme containing PHYTASE.

-External treatment for symptom of acne: Tea Tree Oil. Remember this is a superficial treatment only, but it is natural and more effective and less expensive than commercial treatments.

-You can find many other recommended treatments for a leaky gut online, but you will not be able to find anything that is proven effective to be effective. This is just what worked for me and I wanted to try and prevent needless suffering. I surely wish that I was able to find a to-the-point outline like this when I was suffering.

No, I do not work for iherb.com, but I don’t mind recommending the site for supplements because it is the best supplement site for (usually) the best price and the best delivery I have been able to find. You can save a few bucks by using this coupon code: QEZ234, and I will get a few iherb bucks out of the deal.

BEST OF LUCK TO YOU and God Bless!!!!!!!
