Eating Day Two

This brings me into day 13 of my broad fast. I am still eating, but I have decided to redefine my eating days. Instead of calling it a Daniel Fast I will just call it eating days. I am doing this because I'm not sure if everything I am eating would be considered a Daniel Fast. We know Daniel and his friends had fruits and vegetables. I think I am going a little beyond that. I have had mostly fruits and vegetables, but yesterday I was really craving walnuts. I didn't know if I was craving them because there is something in them that my body needed or not so I ate some. I hope to not have too many eating days anyway. Joe did a whole 60 days on liquids. I know I am doing things differently than Joe because I want to water fast as much as possible too. I don't really think it will matter if I call my eating days a Daniel Fast or not because a Daniel Fast is not a true fast anyway. I think with a goal of 120 days it would be wiser for me to just eat what I think I need on eating days. I do not want to set myself up for failure. I need to be reasonable so that I can complete this 120 day journey with success and few failures if any. I was surprised that my body tolerated the nuts as well as it did after not eating for ten days. I thought I would get a stomach ache, but it didn't happen. :)
