Dream with my father

Jan 12. 2015

I just had a strange convoluted dream. My father who left the body last February was still alive. He was not feeling well and close to dying. He was at the cemetery or someplace like a cemetery and could not fulfill the obligation to say prayers for someone.

We were at the cemetery together. I was holding him and hugging him and giving him good energy.

Someone else when ahead and said prayers for the woman.

I knew her. I could've been the one to have said a prayer for her but I held back. Instead I was with my father.

Then after the words were spoken and she was married I went to retrieve my watering can.

They had used it and it was full of mud and had to be washed off.

My father was stare and so were a couple other people and I told the story of how my watering can is sacred to me .

I was being reminded and I was witnessing to the fact that I am the ceremony list and certain things are very important to me just as in my fathers way they were important to him.

It's not like I don't have spiritual ritual some things I do just as my father did.

It's just that the way that my niece and his close relations in that family honor him. Or different from the way I would honor my father.

The way that I honored my father was discounted and said to be inappropriate by my niece.

I'm having very very deep issues about my spiritual identity and relationship to Judaism that are coming up now.

This has something to do with filling my obligations to my father and mixed feelings about this.

I was sick many months last year. The sickness came at the close of last years natural products Expo.

The way I would honor my father is being interfered with.

I have even been denying and I have a right to honor my father as I would want to.

I am in denial about who I am spiritually. The unveiling of my father is coming up in a month.

I have a right to honor my father my way.

Or do I have a right to honor my father my way.

Their issues for religious freedom here.

I will correct typos here in the morning.

I'm dictating this.
