About a mile or so from the Garden of Palms Assisted Living facility, is The Silent Movie on Fairfax Ave. As a teen, I would escape Friday nights from the loneliness of the loss of my mother to walk to the nearby theatre when I was exposed as a teen to Charlie Chaplin and the works of many Silent Movie Era stars. I have had a vision that I might return to this place to read some of my own poetry on stage. The Silent Movie is within walking distance of Canter's Deli. I have another project for that place, Healthy Condiments for Canters. This would be a noble gesture and offering to the Jewish people and others who visit this celebrated eating places that shares GMO foods, unsuspecting that they may be hurting health.
