Kathreen Gildred's story Leslie Goldman I put a link to your story here on my blog. http://curezone.com/blogs/fm.asp?i=2191083 I want to add some of my own notes that began when I first saw your painting when you were a child hanging in the home of Sadie Gildred, your father's mother. Kathreen Gildred's story
Stories about my work and other adventures through the years!

I remember years ago, Barbara Marx Hubbard saying to me, “Ihave this sense about you Kathleen, that whatever you set your intention oncreating, you will make happen.” As I thinkabout things I’ve done in my life, I realize that what she said sums it up thebest.
Beginning my Life Adventures
When I first started my life adventure after college, Ipuzzled over the question, with my BA in humanities, what was I going todo? I had always taken the classes thatI wanted to take, which fit neatly into a “Humanities” major at Berkeley, although I had to dec1are my own major when I transferred to UCLA. Fortunately, I had a great faculty sponsor, who, as the head of the Art History Department, and having taught for 40 years, wrote that I had the best sense of discernment and eye for quality of anyone hehad met in all his years of teaching. That, of course, makes sense in my current work in GoddessWear, but howwould it serve me in the world of 1970 and what I would do then?
I decided I might work as a docent in a museum, and ponderedthat for all of perhaps an hour, then decided that wasn’t what I wanted todo. I thought of Phil’s mother June (Philwas a boyfriend in college), who had taken me with her one day on her socialwork rounds, which I had really enjoyed. I decided that sounded much more appealing.

My dad was always excited when I would tell him that I had seen you someplace. He died last Feb. He was considered a Tsadiz in the eyes of his orthodox community.
