The end and the beginning...

As anticipated, I decided to stop my fast today. However, I made sure that this time around, I would have a new game plan for my post-fasting routine. I thought long and hard about the most obvious symptoms when I was most sick, and it all came down to mucus. My sinuses are constantly a mess, and I was hacking up more phlegm than ever when waking up. I knew I had to reach for foods that would not exacerbate this problem.

To my surprise, I realized I had not once eliminated eggs from my diet during my two years of being sick. Although they used to agree with me, I think about how dense they are when cooked. I'd even have them raw thinking they'd be easier to digest, but they're so...slimy. The thought of them at this point disgusted me, so I decided to cut them out. And that meant even my beloved cross micro filtered whey had to go as well.

So I just cut out half my diet, but there was no way this girl was going low protein. I decided to take a chance on raw brown rice protein.

So my day went like this:

Broke fast with an org green apple

Org raspberry slushy

Rice protein

Hardcore workout

Green apple with rice protein

Org strawberries

Rice protein

Org celery with hummus, tbsp coconut flakes, tbsp hemp seed, 2 liver tabs (I bought 500 before the fast and can't return them. Can't hurt - grass feed Argentinean)


OMG. I have never had so many damn carbs and haven't felt so good in FOREVER. Raw food truly is medicine.

So I am onto something folks. We'll see how I sleep tonight, and how I feel when I wake up. That'll be the real test. Tomorrow I will start a new blog. I think I'll call it Customized Raw Food Diet to Beat Mold Illness.
