John Vasconcellos, a friend, dies

I just learned of the passing of John Vasconcellos. He was very kind and generous man with his love. He welcomed me into his heart.

I am numbers of photos of him. He would call me at times when he came to San Diego.

I saw him during the summer of 2013 and attended a workshop he gave at a conference sponsored by the Virginia Satir group here.

He died May 24.

I am feeling like I am getting old these days. I have a number of health complaints that are standing in the way of commitments I want to make. I wish I could speak to John about getting older. I feel he lived each day to the fullest.

I called him once when he was in the hospital getting a heart surgery years ago. I knew him as a man who felt feelings deeply.
