Wow that is fascinating! I am actually down from yesterday considering I ate all those calories and lots of fats and no exercise. Hmmmm. Could in be a fluke? Well, we shall see.
6:45am.
I went to sleep at about 1am and slept like a log. Unfortunately, right now I have a headache, my neck is sore, feel phlegmy. So it is a crappy feeling. I noticed last night I was also slightly itchy. I was already suspecting if 2T of coconut oil was possibly the cause. I searched about it and many mention about detoxing from it. Ooooorr the sunflower butter. I had 4T total yesterday. I will keep watchful and see if I am possibly having an allergic reaction. I don't know but I really love having those fats in my diet. Yuuuummmy.

Since I woke up this morning, I just felt worse. It started with the headache and neck pain and my inflammation in my knees just kept worsening. First thought, lack of nutrients maybe. I was getting kids ready for school and didn't have time to prep food so a grabbed a muscle milk (low carb). I am not particularly fond of synthetic nutrients but this is what I had on hand and my usual protein powder (all natural/vegan) is still shipping. The brand is PlantFusion. I love it. Anyhoo, the drink didn't do much for me. After dropping off the kids I checked ketone levels and pH. Well, I am between 5 and 15 with Ketones and pH is acidic at 5-6. That's interesting because I squeezed in a second glass of green juice before going to bed to help increase alkalinity but it got worse over night. So, I decided to juice right away with Kale, Spinach, and cucumber. Half an hour later I did a coffee enema. It's amazing what relief you can get. I am soooo sooo grateful I am able to do it. I learned about this from my father. We have the cancer gene in my family. Fortunately, the particular gene we have, my father doesn't carry it even though 1/2 his siblings do. Nevertheless, he was still quite cautious. I have relatives who had cancer and was at stage 3-4 and went through the Gerson program and recovered. So eating organic food and doing coffee enemas has strong validity within our family. With my own health issues, I knew I had to try it. It takes some time to learn the ins and outs (no put intended) of doing it but it is well worth it. I have done so many detox/cleanses and I am very grateful for the immediate relief I have gotten from doing the enema instead of suffering through the wait of my body to naturally rid itself of it. Anyway, I just thought I'd throw that personal info in because I felt so much better after doing it this morning. Headache gone, neck pain gone, and knee inflammation/soreness almost gone. Wooo hooo.
Ohhh one more piece of information I should add. I will edit my previous post eventually to include this info. I am 5 feet 3 inches tall so that the weight and body percentage might make sense. Well, maybe I did mention it in my post. I can't remember. I am hoping to get down to low 120s and maintain my weight range around 125lbs.
I think I should start a new blog on my paleo diet because my post fast days are now longer than my actual fast days. But I believe what you do AFTER the fast is pretty darn right important. It took many attempts for me to get that through to my brain. I focused so much on the fast that I spent little energy on planning after it. I've learned you have to put just as much, if not even more, effort with planning after the fast.
I have a feeling this Paleo Plan experience will be the impetus for making big big changes with gluten in my family's diet. I've been tinkering around with gluten-free products for awhile but never gotten serious about it. Perhaps this will be the motivation I need.
1pm
Got my Plant Fusion protein powder. I just want to also mention that there are a couple of ingredients that are not allowed on the Paleo. All legumes and all grains. This product containes peas (legume) and quinoa (grain). I'll make the exception with this. I plan to use 1-2 scoops a day to get all the amino acids I need. Each scoop has 4g carbs. This product is gluten free, dairy free, soy free, nut free, vegan, easily digestible. It's easy to use.
Again a busy day for me. I had 3 servings (cups) of Unsweetened Almond Milk during the morning. I just had no time to prep food dealing with kids for breakfast, dropping them off. Then prep, pack, and drop off school lunches and go to the groceries to get more paleo stuff. Then had to make my youngest her lunch and clean up. So I mixed a scoop of Plant Fusion into a cup of Flax milk. I wanted to eat the turkey bacon and eggs with spinach I made for my daughter and me but I am still full. Typically this is how I generally eat, or rather drink, my food since I don't have a whole lot of time for myself. My good meal is usually dinner. So, I am adjusting to have to think and prep for meals for myself. Well, I have about an hour and a half to get a meal since the next activity will be picking up of kids and feeding them all when we get home and then homework.
