wiring on left shin

Random shot of left shin around ulcer. Taken with digital camera with photography loupe taped to lens at appx. x60. This was not visible to the naked eye from what I could see though it is hard to see your left shin close up. I used pixlr touch up to bring out the "spike" on the silver "ball" and the dark piece it's sticking out of...I welcome any feedback on what this may be. To me it looks like something electrical
