JO DICKSON AND ME, LESLIE
Jo Dickson is one of my all time favorite relationships. We see each other once or maybe twice a year at the National Product Expo West and East. This photo was taken in 2012. I just came from the USDA headquarters in Washington D.C. where I spoke at Organic Listening Day. I felt really effective and well received

At the National Heirloom Expo West 2013, I did not see her until the final moments of the show.
I was getting a new hat. I was wheeling my cart with Nadine.
Jo was upstairs in the Hall Show Office. She saw me below on the show floor. She came down.
Jo is part of the Natural Product Expo Staff, we have a mutual positive regard. It is a relationship that goes back maybe a dozen years or more. In a show that draws more than 50,000, it is grounding to have a friend like Jo who is my witness over the years. Lots of times, the things I do at the show are out of the Box, such as bringing the Show Plants each year to the Show Office, to staging The Unofficial Closing Ceremony, or creating my Event, Organic Day at Downtown Disney, at noon, this year, December 10.

LOOKING FORWARD TO 2014 CAMPAIGNS
I LOOK FORWARD TO THE NATURAL PRODUCT EXPO WEST AS WELL AS THE PERMACULTURE VOICES CONFERENCE IN MARCH 2014
The beginning of my Spring campaign this year begins at the Natural Product Expo West March 6-9, 2014, and the following week at the Permaculture Voice Conference Southern California in Temecula, March 13-16. The Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company will be a presence at the Permaculture Voices event. I will support their presence with my activities. I am part of the press corps at the Natural Product Expo West and here I will give away the Kamut© brand Knorasan wheat seed packets, as well as launch my 2014 Blog Campaigns.
TOURING THE GARDEN AT THE ANAHEIM CONVENTION CENTER
This is a photos of Executive Chef Otis Huemmer of the Anaheim Convention Center Kitchen. in 2013 he gave me a tour of the rooftop garden. I gave him grains of Kamut® khorasan wheat to plant. He is excited to thane the #ExpoWest here. Many #ExpoWest Sponsors use his services for special events. He has a ball with the array of healthy products at his use that he can offer clients.
Patrick Smart, Aramark head, Your Enchanted Gardener (That’s me, Leslie Goldman), and Jim Tripp, head of the Aramark Kitchen in 2013 at the Organic Farming Research Foundation OFRF Luncheon.
In 2008, I gave Jim Tripp a number of baby herbs plants in pots and we talked about the Anaheim Convention Center having it own herb garden.
Following the OFRF Luncheon, five years later, I toured that garden that was envisioned with the kitchen Chef.
I would like to have a tour with my non GMO and Organic Trade Association and Organic Farming Research Foundation where we present Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company Non Non GMO Seeeds to the Chef for planting.
I gave him KAMUT brand Khorasan wheat last year for planting. I have a dream to have a number of locations in 2014 that help the Campaign to Grow a Healthier Pizza. Win Back Our Sacred Seeds Grow a Healthier Pizza & one loaf of organic non GMO bread.

The kickoff event of #ExpoWest for me is the Organic Farming Research Foundation Luncheon that happens on the Thursday of the show. This is a not to be missed networking event. I am filled with gratitude for the delightful reception and welcoming that the OFRF has given me over the years. I will be culling through my galleries for Kamut® grains we have grown here at home in SoCal in our experimental projects, as well as photos of foods from local Organic Farmers. One of my all time favorite memories from the National Product Expo West was having my photos in presentations created by the Organic Trade Association and Organic Center. The above photo is local organic spinach from J.R. Organics.
PLANT YOUR DREAM RALPH BRONNER AND YOU AT THE NATURAL PRODUCT EXPO WEST
The Return of Ralph Bronner of Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps to #ExpoWest One of my delights of the National Natural Products Expo West 2013 was seeing and having a brief visit with Ralph Bronner. I encourage everyone to watch Dr. Bronner's Magic Soapbox on Netflix, or get a copy. This tells some of the story of Ralph Bronner and his dad Emanuel Bronner, who inspired many of the Fair Trade and Humaniarian ideas being carried out by the company that gave to pass Prop I-522 in Washington State. David Bronner, president of the company and his brother Michael Bronner are a constant inspiration to me. I have a dream that starting in 2014 I will develop a poetry reading that combines some of my own writings with the Writings from The Moral ABC book of Emanual Bronner (1908-1997).
At the Natural Product Expo West, it is my joy to bring in a pot of living Kamut® Ancient Khorasan wheat and ask my sponsors and the attendees to Plant their dreams.
ORGANIC DAY AT DOWNTOWN DISNEY NOON MARCH 10 2014 MEET AT THE FOUNTAIN OUTSIDE JAMBA JUICE
Each year I visit Downtown Disney the day after the Natural Products Expo West in March. I call this Organic Day at Disney. Feel free to join mr there in at the fountain in front of Jamba Juice (where you can get an Organic Wheatgrass or a Smoothie).

2. CLINICAL OBSERVATIONS AND A STUDY OF THOSE WITH MODERN WHEAT SENSITIVITIES
Many clinical observations, especially by naturopathic doctors, and at least one clinical double blind study in 1991, have added to these consumer testimonials. This clinical study was conducted over a six month period by the International Food Allergy Association under the direction of its president, Dr. Eileen Yoder, PhD. Her results documented that in her tests of 100 people suffering from significant wheat sensitivities; nearly 70% showed a lower test score for KAMUT® Brand wheat than they did for modern wheat. A subset of 10 out of the 100 who had significant problems eating modern wheat were then challenged with a diet of KAMUT® Brand products. Again seven out of the 10 had either no reactions or a very mild reaction. The results of these studies led the author to conclude, “KAMUT® (brand products) can be an excellent substitution for common (modern) wheat if eaten on a rotational basis.” This report substantiated the anecdotal reports we had been hearing for years. Unfortunately Dr. Yoder was seriously injured in a car accident shortly after finishing her report which prevented her from preparing a manuscript for publication.
