Feast for the Soul

Day 53 today, I've enjoyed a little pitstop of having some food for 5 days - a very little at first, building up to being able to eat a small bowl of brown rice with 1/2 an avacado and 3 falafels last night and that's it for awhile - Did some great training with my Bullworker (isometric strength trainer) and some intense Yoga the day before yesterday and as prophesized - no lag in recovery time, feeling good - eating for a few days certainly lifted my mood as well and got rid of the irritability and anger that was arising quite a lot in my expression. I'm embarking on another little fasting leg now - going to go at least till the end of December which will be an 8 day fast from today - might keep going if it feels good and do a bit longer, 15 or so - we'll see. Hoping that the little break helps me bust through the weight loss plateau I was experiencing before and get down to 160 and into the 159's and 8's and so on.
Expecting today to be the tough day - it's usually a bit hard to close the doors again once you open them, I don't think I opened them long enough to really get into that however - today might be a breeze - it's back to kefir and juice and tea and I've been adding on a small cup of lukewarm water with half a lemon every morning as I think I was getting really vitamin C depleted and had a few signs of that after fasting for so long without taking any supplements. The lemon has fixed that up though - reminder to me to always incorporate that into my liquid fasts -really a good thing to just do every day anyway.
Back to a feast for the soul ---
I'm going to do some morning practice (Just got up!) and yoga and perhaps listen to some teachings on Audio that I have - get back to reading some books by Wilhelm Reich that I started a few weeks ago then put down in favor of Shantaram and finishing of a silly sci fi book called Lord Foul's Bane -- play some music and work on some film editing with my man
Wish me Luck getting deep into tha fast again :)
Bought a couple intermittent cookbooks online last night, seemed well worth the 30$ if I'm going to adopt the lifestyle :):)
All for today, catch you soon!
