What happened after the fast

After completing day 3 and ending my water fast I was hoping to just go to sleep but I really couldn't. My stomach was aching and my heartbeat felt so loud and strong that I couldn't sleep. I first had a glass of lemon water. what a relief. I had been fantasizing about biting into the ripe persimmon on our counter top. Was I gonna do it? I thought hard about it. I know I should follow a program going off the fast on juices only first. I just felt after 3 days...what the heck. I took a bite and it was heeeeeaaven. So delicious. I had two. I also had some seaweed snacks. Ahhhhh taste is so explosive. I tell you I slept like a baby! I woke up with a big spring to my step. So happy I was done with the fast. My back and neck flexibility has definitely improved. My skin looks aaahhhmazing like bright, fresh, and dewy. I finished at 136.8lbs.

My husband and I walked to the gym and did a bit of sauna. Walking back I felt so tired and dragged my feet all the way home. I guess I overestimated my energy and strength. I was debating about juicing first but decided since I had solids last night, I'd be okay with raw food again. I chopped up some chinese cabbage with plum tomatoes from my garden with some sesame dressing. After about 20 minutes I saw a can of wild sardines in olive oil. I know I should n't yet but had 2 small ones. Food tasted so good. But my stomach started to hurt a bit. I think this is too much too soon. About 1.5 hours later I feel I'm still struggling to digest this. Well, I will try to just jump back to juicing for a bit and give my digestive system a break.

This fast help me realize how little food we really need to function. My other issue has been grazing. With 5 other people in the house you are always seeing food. I would like to be more mindful when eating.

This week I've got my four kids home and Thanksgiving in 4 days. I would like to maintain healthy eating of mostly raw and trying to avoid gluten. I am very interested in intermittent fasting. I am looking into the various plans.
