Horrible Nightmare--What did it mean?


I just awoke from a horrible nightmare, following a night of perceptive inspirations, some inspired by getting hooked into the news feed and emails on my Iphone.

I was up for numbers of hours during the night, lying in bed.


THE NIGHTMARE

I finished a successfully teaching a few classes at a conference that had an enormous expo hall, sort of like the a hall at the ABA, American Booksellers, or Natural Product Expo West.

I had an opportunity to teach one more optional class. With the other classes I had many self doubts about how I would do--because of limited energy--but now I was confident. I knew I had prepared more to succeed than I needed to do well.

I got lost in the convention hall.

I got absorbed in the beauty of some of the displays.

I lost my bearings. I did not know how to get back to the original table where I left my materials. On top of this, I had no idea how to find the room where I was scheduled to teach. I did not know where the room was.

I became very scared. Much was at stake.

The time came for me to be teaching. Somehow I imagined that it was O.K. if I did not get back, but then, I was overcome with the feelings that people showed up to see me teach. This brought up very uncomfortable sensations. I woke up.

WHAT INSPIRED THE DREAM?

This dream was inspired somehow by a post I read during the night by Ali Brown. I get her emails regularly, but I have not given them the time they deserve.
