INTRO
I began aware that The U.S, I.e, Uncle Sam, was in the Farm Bed with Biotechnology applied to Agriculture a number of years ago.
I attended the annual meeting of the AAAS--The American Association for the Advancement of Science in San Diego. I was part of the Press Corps. I was profoundly moved by this experience.
One of the keynote speakers, who drew a lot of local attention, was Dr. Robert Fraley, Ph.D, the Father of Round Up Ready Technology. He had worked for Monsanto Corporation for many years and is now their chief Technology Officer. Dr. Fraley and I planted a seed that in the years to come, the tension would ease between Organic and GMO Lovers.
I planted seeds with him--organic beet seeds. My dream is that Monsanto Corp comes to its senses. Organic agriculture and Nature's Original Technology go with living our this earth. Dr. Fraley had a different idea, but it was good that we found a way to share some ideas. Out of that meeting came another idea a Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Food, but that is another story.
We have a technology that is already perfect. It is Nature's Original Technology.
Washington D.C. and the Scientists of the AAAS are in the Farmbed with GMO Biotechnology
It was clear from seeing the relationship between the scientists at the conference and the government, that Washington was clearly investing and accepting Biotechnology as a national direction.

Fast forward a number of years. From my point of view, Uncle Sam is destined to Marry "Anti" GMO if we are to get back our an evolutionary course in harmony with the Soul of America. That Soul is expressed in the song "America The Beautiful"

At the upcoming National Heirloom Expo, September 10-11-12 in Santa Rosa, CA, I will be teaching Grow A Healthier Pizza for Adults, 12:15-1 pm, in the Showcase Cafe, as well as interacting with the Youth on Education and Fun Day, September 11.
It is clear to me that GMO Technology is a symptom of our lost Beat with Nature.
It is also clear to me that the Right To Know Genetically Engineered Food Movement and the Know How to Grow Our Our Food Go Hand In Hand.
The Know How to Grow Our Own Food--at least some of it--is our Birthright.
We have lost that Birthright. We are not exercising it.
We turned over to others Food Growing and this has caused a National Food Emergency.
The need for Food Reform in America goes back more than 100 years. I am taking a stand on that need for Food Reform through the simple work I do encouraging others to Grow A Healthier Pizza with Ancient Wheat and Heirloom Seeds and to Take Our Sacred Seeds Out of the Pizza Box and Plant Your Dream.

The Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, was introduced to me by Rabbi Stan Levy as the Birthday of the Universe. He planted in me the idea that we can write a New Life scr1pt during the powerful Ten Days of Awe, the Ten Days between the Rosh Hashanah and the Yom Kippur.
I took this idea to a natural place by saying that we it is Mother Earth's invite to Plant Your Dream on the Rosh Hashanah.
Praises for the B'nai Horin Community
For many years, it has been a tradition in my life to do nature rituals and speak during the final service of the Neilah as celebrated by our B'nai Horin Jewish Renewal Community.
The B'nai Horin Community of Los Angeles has gifted me with some of the most powerful healing experiences of my life in an accepting environment. Most of these have taken place during the Days of Awe.
The National Heirloom Expo falls during the Ten Days of Awe, September 10-11-12, 2013.
This year, I will be in Santa Rosa, the day before the beginning of Yom Kippur.
It made more sense logistically to stay in North California rather than rush home.
I also wanted to spend time at one of my most Sacred Natural places, the Frey Biodynamic Vineyard in Redwood Valley.
I will be celebrating the beginning of Yom Kippur at a wedding of one of the large Family offspring, and the following day of Yom Kippur, traditionally a fasting day, my prayers will be on the earth.
I will that day hopefully being doing earth practices and be in personal renewal.
I will be thinking and prayer with my friends at a distance.
I hope to put up some photos from my visit to the pond at the Frey Vineyard
soon.
I will be planting, throughout the National Heirloom Expo--and at the Rosh Hashanah-dreams with my Jewish Renewal Community of B'nai Horin. B'nai Horin means Children of Freedom.
I hope you Plant Your Dream this year, and include as one of them, "Uncle Sam Marries "Anti" GMO. From my point of view, a new Birthday for the Universe depends on this action.
