My National Heirloom Expo 2013 Journey, Leslie Goldman, Your Enchanted Gardener

August 26, 2013, My National Heirloom Expo Journey

Watering at the Luther Burbank Home & Garden a few days before the beginning of the National Heirloom Expo 2012. I have had that watering can since the 80's. The water was used to Cultivate Our Grassroots Movement. Jeffrey Smith watered our grass seeds.

Today August 26 and tomorrow are important days to plant intentions.

This year the National Heirloom Expo, a Gathering of Sacred Seed Lovers, will be held in Santa Rosa, CA September 10-11-12, 2013.

These Days fall during the Ten Days of Awe as celebrated by my Jewish Renewal faith. This now begins a time of for the Awakening of Sacred Seeds. I am talking about you as a Sacred Seed. I am talking about Outgrowing GMOs because we have reclaimed our Birthright to Grow Our Own Food.

This year, I will celebrate the Day of Atonement that begins September 13 with Katrina Frey and the very loving Frey Family at their Biodynamic Vineyard in Redwood Valley.

I am asking my spirit and soul to allow me the Grace to hold the space for all of our deepest dreams to be fulfilled.

Here is a part of a poem from my book Rekindling of Faith. My prayer now is to use the next 15 Days wisely in preparation for my plane ride to Santa Rosa for the National Heirloom Expo.

I have a candle lit now.

Here are words from my poem "Rekindling of Faith"

Restore my faith that the grass grows endlessly in each and every new moment and seeds will come to pass into full-blown dreams in their own time and flowering.

Show me the forgiveness to go easier on myself,
to live the rhythm of my seasons.

Relight the candles.
Reaffirm the miracle of the holy lamp that is me,
that can burn brightly with oil for eight days through
only fueled for one.

Return to me the courage to plant again
that I might rebuild an Enchanted Hami Garden
for all to visit.

Grant me the insight to rejoice future harvests in the present.

As I work silently,
Show me the stars that never waver in their purpose.
Remind me I am not forgotten or alone,
but richly felt.
Let me find the love of friends long passed
out of sight in new faces.
Breathe into me the force that moves the pen,
Returning all to you.
