Good observations.

I think that the food movement is very young. Awaits a generation of leaders...good political fighters...and messengers...we need to get better at it.

could the 6 million been better spent?

They didn't win the argument...because they did not enter the debate.

what about all these food complains feeling about what they spent...
what did they get.

they get no benefit...

a PR backlash...

argued for lack of transparency...

hundreds....disorganized letters..what do we get from selling genetically modified...we don't want any more genetically modified potatoes...

The movement ...should it develop

does it need a steering committee?

should we be working on ...

look at what works...

targeted boycotts?

Divestment?

should we be working on getting the universities to divest...

should we be stressing agriculture...

I feel voting with your folk is real politics...

a lot of the food movement is about a protest and looking for other relationships with their dollars...

farmers market....

I think....audiences are looking for something else...

effort to carve out a space that is not commercialized...not based a civil society space.

1989...checz and poland...had idea...act as if they lived in a free country...
more people ...pleasure in creating a civil society against corporate intrusion...a realm free of corporate intrusion...
