The microscope has saved billions of lives and is why we live so long. In the year 1880s the microscope was invented. With it came the discovery of Pathogens, viruses, parasites, fungus, mold, yeast how and what they are and do and how to avoid and defeat them. use of Toilett Papper, Soap, washing Hands and body use of utincils. Nail Clippers, Tooth Brush. Hygene and sanitation. Covering mouth when cough. Without these things we didn't live very long.
