GARDEN MANAGEMENT JOURNAL
It is one day before the vote on 37. I wish I could do more to help. Yesterday was the Hillcrest Farmers' Market, one of the most popular in San Diego County. I need to take time to record some of the wins there. They were big,
I projected that yesterday would be GMO Education Day at the Hillcrest Farmers' Market on Friday. I wasn't able to do to much to put a foundation under that Seed Dream, other than write up the idea and put in on a few places on Facebook.
I was having difficult feelings about promoting that event.
The farmers of the Hillcrest Farmers' Market are my long standing allies. Some of them are voting No on 37, This is devastating to my spirit. The Farmers' Market Manager is a sincere ally. We go back near 10 or more years. His concerns were based on some of the ideas put forth by the $46 Million dollar No Campaign. He voted No before leaving for a trip out of the country. His brother was left in charge of the market yesterday. His brother was going to vote No on 37 when I first began educating him about the issue more than three weeks ago. Yesterday, he enthusiastically told me that I had changed his vote to YES on 37.
I had given him a lot of the paper work for the campaign. I did a lot of listening to his concerns and fears. I took time to find out the information that he needed. I addressed his concerns.
There is a photo of him on my Campaign for A Healthier Pizza Facebook page. The Facebook Page records the a good part of my journey. Some of the photos go back to before the Caravan, September 1-10, to the National Heirloom Expo, September 11-12-13, in Santa Rosa, CA.
That Facebook Page was originally called the Caravan to the National Heirloom Facebook page, or something like that.
"Yes!" at the Hillcrest Farmers' Market
I want to write about the spirit of "Yes!" at the Hillcrest Farmers' Market yesterday. For the first time in all the months I have been talking up Prop 37, it was clear that Vote Yes on 37 was on fire. This was a mighty conversation that was easy to get into with many people.
There were no less than five of us promoting Vote Yes on 37, handling out various literature. I interacted with all of these.
My energy was low at the beginning of the market.
I am not in good physical health now.
As I write this I could throw up. I do not know what my diet needs to be right now. Last night I stopped into WFM and bought an organic chicken. I was very hungry.
I am hungry now,
I missed my Green Fix Smoothie connection at yesterdays market in a week when I really need the best of foods. The Green Fix Smootie is working for me. It is an organic fresh green drink.
One of the big problems to overcome all these months was communicating about Yes on 37 in a simple way.
Yesterday, in the last hour of the market, I was in good form, in spite of a clogged left ear, shoulders that are stuck, feet that are hurting from poor footwear. Add on that a mild headache, and an enormous mess in my room and on my desk and you get the picture. I stayed in bed longer that usual this morning. I am still tired and weary.
It is now 7:55 am.
I need to do some practical things this morning, that include:
Making an appointment to go get my ear washed out.
Calling first Bankcard and paying in a bill over the phone on a credit card that is going away once again. The monthly payment date escapes me each month.
I have to pay the rent today.
I have to put a check in the mail for the Taxes.
I have to deliver the Arundo to the office of Tiffany at Pacific College for the Pacific Symposium.
Computer Sickness
On top of the physical weariness and stuffiness in my head from a Fall diet that is now working, I have had ongoing computer sickness for more than two months.
I believe this has something to do with the ceremony work I have been doing. I have been in charge spiritually tending seeds of KAMUT ® Knorasan ancient wheat in a pot, sometimes with San Marzano Tomatoes. These seeds and plants are the cornerstone of the Campaign to Grow A Healthier Pizza.
For more than two months, on a consistent basis I have been having computer problems, and tech issues related to all my computer extensions.

Feeling Depressed and discouraged

Went to Dan Bressler M.D. Today. He did his best to clear the wax in my left ear. It got out one big piece, but my ear is blocked. Brad is suggesting using Hydrogen Peroxide 1/s strength. I have had a headache much of the day. I am very tired and weary.
