Props to Michael Pollan and Amy Goodman for nailing some of the most important issues Related to Prop 37 in Amy's interview around World Food Day October 2012.
This interview addresses some of the ideas that have most turned me on about Michael Pollan and President Obama. I am also on the verge of voting for the President again based on this interview!!!! I have had my doubts.
In this interview, Michael speaks to Michelle's Obama's work for the food movement. She came to my neighborhood on Tax Day April 15, 2010.
This photo was taken in the tent where she spoke to the press and related the need to garden with Let's Move! her national initiative.
Special interests threw a wet noodle on some of the food improvement school lunch aspects with the Pizza is a Vegetable debacle.
But this is nothing new. Special Interests have been harming our food supply for more than 100 years, bringing us up to the current Food Emergency where most people do not even know that GMOs are in the Food Supply.
I am in the camp that does not believe they are safe, for certain, they have not been adequately tested by the FDA or anyone who gives the FDA is rubber stamp of approval over foods.

This is must listening for anyone who wants to build the Food Movement.
The 7.5 Million + 2 Petition Began Initially to Count Heads. I wanted to know how many Votes We Had Before Election Day for the YES side.
There are major players who have signed, each influencing millions of votes themselves.
I invite you to claim yourself as a "Major Player" in the Food Movement.
This major also addresses the need to Grow A Healthier Pizza. This is a metaphor for grow some of your own food as well as put Special Interests in their place.
There is reference here to the Nov 2011 Food Discussions in Congress where they voted in spirit to allow two tablespoons of tomato sauce to define Pizza as a Vegetable, therefore sacrificing our kids health for a buck.
The solution is grow some of your own food, and support the local organic farmers offering the best possible foods.
The Petition morphs into the as 7.5 Million + 2 Campaign to Grow A Healthier Pizza on November 6, election day on opening pre-conference day of the Pacific Symposium at the Catamaran Resort & Spa, San Diego.
I will update the info on a new petition launching November 6, in light of the massive attempted buy out of the election by the forces opposing Prop 37.
There is no way that a Grassroots movement in support of a national policy on food will not come out of Prop 37.
Those seeds are now planted.

Whole Foods Market has come out in favor of Prop 37. That is Walt Robb, the Co-Ceo in the middle, and David Bronner, President of Dr. Bronner Magic Soap on the right.
In this interview made in March of 2012, Walt Robb calls for United Action within the Organic Community. The question is now, are strong are our Grassroots????? Can we Outsmart, outwit, and out Phone Call The opposition that has put $40 million on the table. I hear they are spending more to defeat Prop 37 than the opposition is investing in CA on the President election!
