We each have to learn to train our mind in order to become the person we intend to be... Only your mindset will determine the outcome of your Eternal life!...

The main battle of your life is in your mind {soul, will, or emotions}!

Your mindset determines the outcome of your existence!

An Military Christian Chaplin; once preached:

" Sure the military will melt you, but you will only fit into whatever mold that you have already picked!"

Once you become conformed to the image of Christ by the renewing of your mind through the Word of God; there is not another mold which you must conform to, under any circumstances!

Your mind set determines the way you go! If you do not have a firm and true determination, when the pressure come you will fold and join whatever is around you! This is the problem with most people!

That is why there are so many sad souls, who are dissatisfied in life! They live as poor folks, or criminals, or perverts, or just general lost souls! Because they have not made a determination as to what their mindset in life is!

Why and how can we get beyond this futile failure mode in life?

" For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace." Romans 8:6

This verse does not say that being spiritually minded tends toward life and peace. It says that to be spiritually minded is life and peace. There can be no exceptions... If a person is not experiencing life and peace then they are not spiritually minded!

Being spiritually minded does not necessarily mean you have to go around thinking about religious things all the time!

" The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life!" John 6:63

God's Work is spiritual. Thinking in line with what God's Word says produces life and peace. There are no exceptions - that is just the way it is!

The word " carnal" does not mean sinful... It means physical; oriented with the flesh and frailties of the human nature - or dominated by what is: seen, tasted, heard, smelled or felt!

Sadly, many people will never experience God's Life and peace. I think that there are literally millions who hide behind the mentality that their problems are some kind of chemical imbalance! It's not their hormones that is affecting them; it's not the chemistry of their bodies that is making them the way they are... While a Chemical imbalance is a possibility, because of the some particular drug taken...

If you think you have this problem, you may need to realize that taking some pills for the rest of your life is not the only answer!

You can over come, choose life, seek God's direction in your life...

*** Your mindset determines your outcome!

Emotionally conforming anything other than God's Word happens to Christians all the time! They do not see themselves as overcomers in almost any area... They may have knowledge about something, yet they still view themselves as failures..

This is most evident in the area of finances or person property... Even people who inherit or win large sums of money because they grew up with little, they will generally end up losing most of it! They will tend to not manage large sums of money well or even valuable personal property! Why because they have a mindset that keeps them poor ..

They see themselves as poor. They talk poor, act poor, so they have an attitude & mindset of poverty! Which is why they continue to think they are poor!

Proverbs 23:7 " Whatever your think in your heart. that is what you will be! "

If you think you are poor, you may think that it is because of your skin color.You may think it is because of your social class into which you were born or geographical area in which you grew up... You may even think it is because the government hasn't provided you with the right opportunities to prosper... You may think that if you could get more welfare, you would not be in your situation... You may think that you have been held down or limited because you are not as gifted, pretty, athletic, talanted or favored as someone else..

All these are just excuses, and most people tend to find an excuse rather than face the problems before them! The truth is that if you're poor in the US today, it's because you are thinking " poor"!

You see your self as poor, then you act poor! This is not saying that you don't desire to have wealth, but honestly you just see yourself as poor!

So if you were to come into a great amount of wealth, unless you changed your " poor or whoa is me. " it would just be a matter of time before you would become the poor person you think you are!

On the other hand, if you would learn to accept and take the Word of God in your life; then you could begin to see yourself as God see you! God sees the potential in each of us... We can become just what you envision... What you think is what you get. It all begins in your mind!

Thinking Precedes Manifestation! It takes the proper attitude and the right mindset!

I have been in serious conditions that would stress many people, yet I never saw myself poor. I never thought poor. I did not dress poor. I did not talk poor. I did not act poor. So as a result, I eventually came out of those situations!

The key is that I tend to see myself as prosperous, not poor! It was just a matter of time until the Word of God { As found in the Bible} starts working in your life!

** Now, " God supplies all my needs according to His riches in Glory by Jesus Christ. " Phil 4:19

You can see yourself as you want to be!
