But antiseptic stings when put on a cut. note a scab itches when healing and also a healing wound aches.

The pain is part of the healing. It's how you know it's working! If your cut if it stings from the antiseptic then you know it's killing deadly bacteria.

And the pain and discomfort passes with time, like the sting of a good antiseptic, like the sore foot as it heals.
