A DAY WITH PAMM LARRY...
I spent some delightful moments with Pamm Larry, the Grandma who got off the couch some time in 2011 to say Label GMOs in California. Fast forward to May 29, 2012, the day Pamm drove into San Diego to crisscross San Diego, The Nation's fInest City.
I drove the EG Mobile, my 68 VW van from La Jolla, to Del Cerro, and then to Jimbo's in Carlsbad. I wanted to spend as much time as possible with Pamm. Pamm and I made some videos recording what I see: The Success of the 'Right to Know-Label GMOs' Ballot initiative. We literally took that seed--represented by the ancient Grain of KAMUT (R) Khorasan Wheat, out of the 'Box' and planted in in fertile soil. I asked Pamm's support for my project to help the California Campaign. I am on a Journey to Win Back Our Sacred Seeds. One Leg of the Journey is the Caravan, September 1-10, to the National Heirloom Expo, September 11-12-13, 2012. I will teach 'Grow a Healthy Pizza' there to children and adults, as well as participate in an Opening and Closing Ceremony. In Route I will also teach 'Grow a Healthier Pizza.' This Workshop shares 'Voices from the Past and Future. These voice indicate that Special Interests have prevailed with government for more than 100 years. 2012 is the 106th Anniversary of the Pure Food Law passed by Congress that would have outlawed misbranded and adulterated foods and prevented the epidemics of Obesity and loss of health among our Children and adults. I am taking up where these Voices left off at the time the 'Great War' began, around World War One. The Rally cry now is 'Grow a Healthier Pizza!' I am committed to help build the Greatest Grass Roots Movement in California History. I am committed to identify and inspire "Sacred Seeds" to Plant Your Dream, and be part of this thrilling endeavor--The Right to Know Label GMO Foods Movement. This, my friend, is a consumer Rights Issue. This is an issue of establishing Food Reform and setting seeds for knowing the companies will support with our Conscious Commerce.We begin with Non-GMO Verified products. We end with acknowledging the our dearest friend, Uncle Sam, needs our help now to fill his Shoes with our own Dreams, the result of expressing fully Our Sacred Seed in the world.

The Fourth photo: Kidsfrom Niños del Cuchama Centro de Permacultura Urbana A.C. in Tecate, Mexico helped "Grow a Healthier Pizza" May 2012. They ground KAMUT® Khorasan ancient wheat into kernels at the 2nd Festival of Traditional Medicine for the Americas. I returned a few weeks later and a teacher told me the grass was about eight inches tall. The project, Grow a Healthier Pizza, involves signing the '7.5 Million + 2 Petition on Change.org to win the 'Right to Know-Label GMOs,' the 2012 California Ballot Initiative. MISSION
We need Food Reform to make sure we all have a Pure Food Law as once established through Congress by Dr. Harvey W. Wiley MD, Father of the vision of the FDA. I am asking you to Co-create now the Greatest Grass Roots Movement in California History that wins the Right to Know Label GMOs 2012 Ballot Initiative, and continue Food Reform. You, dear friend, need heirloom seeds to Plant Your Dream.
My ideal: Give each child seeds to ‘Plant Your Dream.' Create a world of gardeners and millions more doctors of the soil who are farming. I saw the Niños del Cuchama Kids a few weeks later at the World Environment Day sponsored by the Fundacion La Puerta, Professor’s Park. A teacher from the school greeted me with love. She said the children had been calling me the “Dreammaker.” I was touched. This amazing school epitomizes good education for children. It is one of the project with kids I bless.

"If commercial interests--once again-- have convinced Congress--to do business as usual--and that profits are more important than our children having improved lunches in schools, if Congress has now said that a few tablespoons of tomato sauce define Pizza as a Vegetable, then we, as Conscious Consumers will Grow a Healthier Pizza through the action of the '7.5 Million + 2 Petition.' To top off this pizza, we want to know the quality of our Ingredients. Millions of Californians are without their knowledge eating GMOs every day. GMOs are Genetically Modified Organisms. They have been in our food for a number of decades. Somebody thought this was O.K. to include GMOs in the daily foods we eat, but did not take the time to ask us first if we wanted them there. Near 50 nations of the world have the integrity to give their people choice to know if they are eating GMOs in their corn, soy, and a host of other foods, but in the US, since the inception of the idea of the FDA in 1906, Commercial interests have placed profits over producing healthy kids and influenced heavily our food supply. Congress, in Fall 2011, declared that tomato sauce qualified Pizza as a vegetable to keep from the added expense of improving foods in our schools. Toward that end, we are coming together, bonding together, opening an honest Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Food about GMOs. We are here to educate ourselves, and our fellow Californians that we might each stand in the light about what we are eating. We believe that in signing this petition we are Cultivating Food Justice on our own tables. Our bottomline is that we have a 'Right to Know' our food ingredients and to 'Label GMO Foods.' We intend to create a massive grassroots movement to support this.
We love California. We love good food. Many of us are gaining confidence now that we can grow some of our own foods. We trust the process of initiative in the Golden State. We come together now as registered voters, and as others around the country and from many nations, that the people of California become aware that GMOs are in many of our foods. We each, endorse the California 'Right to Know - Label GMOs.' We are letting each other know that we are standing together here to 'Grow a Healthier Pizza' for our Kids.

WHAT'S UP WITH THE NUMBER 7.5 MILLION + 2 CALIFORNIANS?
I was with Pamm Larry, May 29, 2012. She is the Grandma who started the California Right to Know Label GMOs Proposition that is on the Nov 6 ballot. Someone asked, how many people voted in California? She said 15 million. She said that we needed a couple people plus 50 % to win the California Right to Know Label GMOs Ballot Proposition. So...I thought...that meant we needed a magical number: "7.5 Million + 2 Californians" to Vote "Yes." Get it?
The "7.5 Million + 2" Petition is about counting our numbers now, and helping to build the most powerful Grassroots Movements California has seen.
