We Need an Open Discussion about the Trans Pacific Partnership Agreement.
Things that need to be discussed Law and Order.
As far as I can see, this discussion is Undemocratic. If the individuals who represent corporations who are from various national of the Pacific Rim want to discuss this, the discussions need to include others who have a vested interest in the future of living on a healthy planet.
The recent Bust of the July 4 firework display within walking distance of the Hilton Bayfront Hotel was a response from Nature and the Soul of Humanity. This is a very "Unkosher" event. It is highly undemocratic.
From what I heard and overheard--the kind of world that the individuals imagine for the future of the 99% would not be good for local agriculture, or nations.
This TPPA sets up agreements that primarily are here to protect the capital of the the investors. This is their main objective.
If something within a nation can hurt the investment, the investor can take the nation to a court of international law that exists above and beyond the legal court system of the Unites States or any other country.
It was reported that--
as an example--
in Peru, where there were great environmental violations with deaths to people and children from toxics, the government asks the individuals responsible to stop.
The individuals, representing corporations of people with investments, sued the government for millions of dollars for a loss of income.
The Government paid the fine and stopped blocked the project.
This kind of negotiation comes out of a lack of seeing the whole picture.
That is why I say we need to all all parties in a Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Food.
The TPPA agreements, it was said, at the first International People's conference- would establish agreements that would outlaw local agriculture.
The People involved, action as corporations, prefer Food to be produced by central growing large operations who send products into the local economy.
From their point of view, they are making tremendous investments of capital and they do not deserve to have their capital harmed by the local economy.
Therefore they want agreements, above national laws, to insure that their capital is a safe investment.
They want agreements to protect what is most important to them--they money.

For more than 106 years, Special Interests have been having their way with our Food Supply because they felt it was in their best interests. It did not matter what happened to the people who ate the food.
What was good for people who ate the food was pointed out by Dr. Harvey W. Wiley and Alfred W McCann in their books and writings. They were calling for Food Reform. The Rally Cry 106 years later is "Grow a Healthier Pizza!"

it does not help to yell at each other. We may feel angry about what we are feeling. We may feel we are correct in our assessment of the situation. A Dialogue listening to other points of view is essential to make progress.
Some people imagine that those who they are calling the 1% are greedy. I feel it is essential that we listen to each other without calling each other names.
There is another card in the deck called Nature. She is going to trump but
those who call themselves the 99% and the 1%. The world is coming into the hands of those who can keep the beat with nature, so I advise, begin to learn how to grow food now.
