She is part of the exhibit at the National Heirloom Expo--my Plant Your Dream Station at the event. She will have portable garden in pots and is scheduled for some makeover for this important public appearance.
She will be on TV along the way telling the story and planting the Greatest Grassroots Movement in CA History that is asking "7.5 Million + 2" of us, or whatever the magic number is, to register to vote and vote for the Right to Know Ballot Initiative.

A Scene in Jeremy Siefert's New Film Brought Me to a State of
Hallowed Feeling and Great Emotion: It is the Scene at The Svalvard Global Seed Vault in Norway.
There is a new Video in making my Jeremy Siefert, whose previous film, "Dive" caught the interest of many people. Jeremy's new film, as he explains was inspired by a short newspaper article in the New York Times in 2011. The article talked about a gift of potentially millions of pounds of seeds--Genetically Engineered seeds that would have been planted in Haiti right after the devastating earthquake. The people there, who have not lost their beat with nature, saw that they seeds were as destructive to their own Food Sovereignty as the earthquake itself. They burned the seeds.
There is a scene in the forthcoming Video recorded at Svaldard Global Seed Vault, a depository for a growing number of the diversity of heirloom organic seeds that have seeded the cultural integrity of history. Curious to some, the Vault is of very Special Interest to to Bill and Melenda Gates Foundation as well as those in the Monsanto point of view about seeds. They are investing Millions in Syalvard. The Vault has been called the Doomsday Vault. It is a just in case back up in case GMO Ag Technology perhaps fails, or some other disaster strikes our seed supplies.
I, Jeremy, and the creators of the National Heirloom Expo in Santa Rosa, CA September 11, 12 and 13 have a different "Thrival" Plan. The National Heirloom Expo is sponsored by Baker Creek Rare Seed Company, who also runs the Petaluma Seed Bank in Petaluma.

"If commercial interests have convinced Congress--to do business as usual--and that profits are more important than our children having improved lunches in schools, if Congress has now said that a few tbs of tomato sauce defines Pizza as a Vegetable, then we, as Conscious Consumers will Grow a Healthier Pizza through the action of this petition. To top off this Pizza, we want to know the quality of our Ingredients. Millions of Californians are without their knowledge eating GMOs every day. GMOs are Genetically Modified Organisms. They have been in our food for a number of decades. Somebody thought this was O.K. to include GMOs in the daily foods we eat, but did not take the time to ask us first if we wanted them there. Near 50 nations of the world have the integrity to give their people choice to know if they are eating GMOs in their corn, soy, and a host of other foods, but in the US, since the inception of the FDA in 1906, Commercial interests that have placed profits over producing healthy kids and influenced heavily our food Supply. tCongress, in Fall 2011, declared that Tomato Sauce qualified Pizza as a vegetable to keep from the added expense of improving foods in our schools. From our point of view, kids would benefit from more and more healthy ingredients. Toward that end, we are coming together, bonding together, opening an honest Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Food about GMOs, We are here to educate ourselves, and our fellow Californians that we might each stand in the light about what we are eating. We believe that in signing this petition we are Cultivating Food Justice on our own tables. Our bottleline is that we have a Right to Know our food ingredients. We call on each other to Label GMOs, and intent to create a massive grassroots movement to support this.
We love California. We love good food. Many of us are regaining confidence now that we can grow some of our own foods. We trust the process of initiative in the Golden State. We come together now as registered voters, and as others around the country and from many nations, that the people of California become aware that GMOs are in many of our foods. We each, endorse the California Right to Know Label GMOs. We are letting each other know that we are standing together here to Grow a Healthier Pizza for our Kids.

I was with Pamm Larry, May 29, 2012. She is the Grandma who started the California Right to Know Label GMOs Proposition that is on the Nov 6 ballot. Someone asked, how many people voted in California? She said 15 million. She said that we needed a couple people plus 50 % to win the California Right to Know Label GMOs Ballot Proposition. So...I thought...that meant we needed a magical number: "7.5 Million + 2 Californians" to Vote "Yes." Get it?
The "7.5 Million + 2" Petition is about counting our numbers now, and helping to build the most powerful Grassroots Movements California has seen.
