I began a commitment to spend more time in the garden about three weeks ago.

I had a difficult morning.

I am regrouping with doing Plant Parenthood Activity in the Garden

NEW POTS STARTED TODAY

The KAMUT (R) with Corn from the Volcano Region for Diego. Third attempt. This was planted in coconut water. Ron Hurov said that Coconut water might work.

Also some for eating...

I went over his house yesterday morning before the FM. Things did not go as anticipated there with support of CSA that I want to begin in the neighborhood, but he did say he wanted a couple ounces of KAMU (R) Grass, likely on a regular basis.

I am planting a pot of this in the Arundo soil that I got from the base of one Aundo Donax root.

I wrote about that experience last week. It was amazing. I found fertile moist soil at the base of an Arundo. I am anxious to know if this is the condition around most Arundo Donax. If it is, that would be a very special find. I am concerned about a lack of fertile soil on this property. That condition is becoming improved with conscious work making more compost.
