Ceremony Work Note
Leslie was the creator of the original closing ceremonies at the Whole Life Expo in the 80's, one of the most popular shows of this heyday. He also has done ceremony work at many places over the years, including the International Feng Shui Conferences in San diego 2005 that ran in sync at the very same hotel during the same time of the ceremony work with the Hilton chain joining the the California Green Lodging program.

"Grow a Healthier Pizza" is a hands-on experience. we learn the state of wheat today. we learn about tomatoes, dairy products, fresh vegetables and meat choices. we grind ancient kamut® khorasan grains and see whole grains turn to flour. we taste organic ingredients. we learn about non organic ingredients on our supermarket shelf now that may contain what are called genetically modified organisms (gmos) that are made in labs and not a farm. we learn about other chemicals and gmos- that somehow got in our food supply without anyone asking us if we wanted them there; these ingredients may be effecting our stamina and endurance from youth to old age. planting whole, pure, organic wheat and non gmo tomatoes is part of the workshop. as the seeds grow, so grow the dreams we plant. i travel with one central pot and a silver box that i say contains the deepest dreams of humanity. my message is "plant your dream." gardening, even in one pot with intention, helps us get our beat back with nature. one of the intentions being planted in this pot is to for a real national Dialogue On Science, Rthics, and Food on Facebook

i am setting out in 2012 to inspire thousands of new gardeners. i set this intention when i spoke at organic listening day at the usda in washington september 20, 2011, and volunteered to be the enchanted gardener for the people's garden initiative. the beginning: we can each grow some of our own food in containers and get our beat back with nature. i travel with a silver box that contains the deepest dreams of humanity, and a pot where you are invited to plant your dream. i hand out seeds to others as well and encourage their planting. we have reached a tipping point of consumer initiative thanks to so many divergent voices coming together. a literal grassroots movement of gardeners will inspire the white house, congress, and its federal agencies to come to terms with real food safety; this includes gmo proliferation. our food emergency is my pressing issue of the 2012 campaign. as a consumer movement, the right to know initiative reached near 1,000,000 signers in early may to get on the california ballot. now we are taking the next step at the ballot box this november. washington is in the farm bed with biotech agriculture. thousands more small gardeners are needed, and a new generation of organic farmers. we will ignite a movement of 10 million strong or more leading to 'uncle sam marries "anti" gmo.' "grow a healthier pizza" is my contribution toward this victory through blogging, educating and planting strong intentions.

Non GMO Seeds? GMO Seeds? Many will know the importance of deciding which to use as the Caravan Continues.
This is the 100 Anniversary of Dr. Wiley Leaving the FDA After Helping Pass The Pure Food Law in 1906. Dr. Wiley left the FDA in 1912, protesting the inability of Congress to apply the Pure Food Law. In this Cartoon, Uncle Sam is talking to Dr Wiley, and giving him a pat on the back for at least attempting. Commercial interests, as his ally, Dr. Alfred W. McCann writes in "Starving America" and "The Science of Eating" (1919) prevailed. McCann, as well as Luther Burbank, 1906, saw an important need to not ignore our children. McCann said in his books that it would take a long while for Congress to grapple with the facts that he espoused about violated grains and adulterated foods. Not is the time, 100 years later to take up the the cause once more for Pure Food.
Our Caravan journey has already started. We began with raising this awareness: We have the Right to Know what is in our food Label GMO Ingredients. Pizza, as well as 80% of our foods today are made with GMO ingredients. Let the people at least know what they are eating so they can decide what where they want to spend their money. Congress, over the century, has continually surrendered to food interests. Last November 2011, they defined Tomato Sauce on Pizza as a Vegetable. We have the obligation, in behalf our our Children, to Grow a Healthier Pizza.
What are we eating in Pizza? GMO Foods need to be labeled. This Caravan journey will show the ingredients we are eating that are GMO, as well as tout Taste Organic.

"Grow a Healthier Pizza" is a hands-on experience. we learn the state of wheat today. we learn about tomatoes, dairy products, fresh vegetables and meat choices. we grind ancient kamut® khorasan grains and see whole grains turn to flour. we taste organic ingredients. we learn about non organic ingredients on our supermarket shelf now that may contain what are called genetically modified organisms (gmos) that are made in labs and not a farm. we learn about other chemicals and gmos- that somehow got in our food supply without anyone asking us if we wanted them there; these ingredients may be effecting our stamina and endurance from youth to old age. planting whole, pure, organic wheat and non gmo tomatoes is part of the workshop. as the seeds grow, so grow the dreams we plant. i travel with one central pot and a silver box that i say contains the deepest dreams of humanity. my message is "plant your dream." gardening, even in one pot with intention, helps us get our beat back with nature. one of the intentions being planted in this pot is to for a real national Dialogue On Science, Rthics, and Food on Facebook

on may 2, 2012, near 1,000,000 people used the california initiative process to say "label gmos." a grassroots movement was born. we, in america, want the right to know what we are eating, the same right more than 40 other nations give to their people. america will regenerate beginning with our youth learning all sides of the gmo question and tasting healthy ingredients so they can choose their future. this moment is about the older generation saying to our youth, i give you what you need. take your dreams "out of the box." plant your dream! this dream is happening now. how fast can a dream grow? as fast as a blade of grass...with a few baker creek san marzano non gmo label tomatoes topping it off! --leslie goldman, your enchanted gardener, may 5, 2012.

i am setting out in 2012 to inspire thousands of new gardeners. i set this intention when i spoke at organic listening day at the usda in washington september 20, 2011, and volunteered to be the enchanted gardener for the people's garden initiative. the beginning: we can each grow some of our own food in containers and get our beat back with nature. i travel with a silver box that contains the deepest dreams of humanity, and a pot where you are invited to plant your dream. i hand out seeds to others as well and encourage their planting. we have reached a tipping point of consumer initiative thanks to so many divergent voices coming together. a literal grassroots movement of gardeners will inspire the white house, congress, and its federal agencies to come to terms with real food safety; this includes gmo proliferation. our food emergency is my pressing issue of the 2012 campaign. as a consumer movement, the right to know initiative reached near 1,000,000 signers in early may to get on the california ballot. now we are taking the next step at the ballot box this november. washington is in the farm bed with biotech agriculture. thousands more small gardeners are needed, and a new generation of organic farmers. we will ignite a movement of 10 million strong or more leading to 'uncle sam marries "anti" gmo.' Non GMO Seeds? GMO Seeds? Many will know the importance of deciding which to use as the Caravan Continues.
This is the 100 Anniversary of Dr. Wiley Leaving the FDA After Helping Pass The Pure Food Law in 1906. Dr. Wiley left the FDA in 1912, protesting the inability of Congress to apply the Pure Food Law. In this Cartoon, Uncle Sam is talking to Dr Wiley, and giving him a pat on the back for at least attempting. Commercial interests, as his ally, Dr. Alfred W. McCann writes in "Starving America" and "The Science of Eating" (1919) prevailed. McCann, as well as Luther Burbank, 1906, saw an important need to not ignore our children. McCann said in his books that it would take a long while for Congress to grapple with the facts that he espoused about violated grains and adulterated foods. Not is the time, 100 years later to take up the the cause once more for Pure Food.
Our Caravan journey has already started. We began with raising this awareness: We have the Right to Know what is in our food Label GMO Ingredients. Pizza, as well as 80% of our foods today are made with GMO ingredients. Let the people at least know what they are eating so they can decide what where they want to spend their money. Congress, over the century, has continually surrendered to food interests. Last November 2011, they defined Tomato Sauce on Pizza as a Vegetable. We have the obligation, in behalf our our Children, to Grow a Healthier Pizza.
What are we eating in Pizza? GMO Foods need to be labeled. This Caravan journey will show the ingredients we are eating that are GMO, as well as tout Taste Organic.
