More Eco Art; two are made from copies of my original watercolors

Eco Art: "EggRoot" by mayah (c)2012   

Wooden frame is painted with biodegradable, non-toxic milk paint; flowers and "egg" (really  photos of two stones cut out and shaped into an egg--the flowers sit inside a "pocket" made from the two stone photos) from an advertisement; silver ink pen



Eco Art: "Lizards X 4" by mayah (c)2012

Original "Lizard" watercolor by mayah. The beautiful sunset photo in the background is a kodak print by an unknown photographer; it came in the unpainted frame I bought at Goodwill Industries and used for "EggRoot" above. The "lizards" are cut out from their background and mounted on reused cardboard, giving them a bit of 3-D effect.




Eco Art "Every Day is Earth Day" by mayah (c) 2012

A nationally recognized "Earth Day" comes but once a year in April, yet every day brings new opportunity to help our planet. The globe in the center is from an original "Prayer for the Earth" watercolor by mayah; the hands and words are from magazines. Art work is pasted on top of a framed mirror--when you look at the art, you see yourself reflected in the background. What are you doing to help protect the Earth and all of Her BEings?


All Eco Art by mayah (c)2012    "Eco Art by mayah" is made of recycled materials and earth-friendlier art supplies: reused corrugated and other cardboard; photos from magazines,advertisments,catalogs and other reused paper products; reused plastic and shrink wrap; non toxic glues and paint; various art paper and scraps from other art projects. Frames: Goodwill Industries.

New photo and/or stock paper used only for mini-art prints made from my original watercolors--digital photograph, uploaded, shrunk and printed out--yeah, I know, one of these days I'll get a scanner!
