I was up about an hour ago with many inspirations about Wellness in Tecate.
I stopped to finish my work from yesterday morning that appears here:

The Morning inspirations Today
The early morning inspirations today came from my recent visit to Rancho La Puerta.
These inspirations this morning were magnificent.
I hope to recapture some of them here.
In Summary:
1- I see Tecate growing barley.
The barley will be used for a new line of organic beers for the Tecate Brewery.
Professor Edmond Bordeaux Szekely once grew barley in Tecate. I know the climate is suited for this grain.
2- I see Tecate and its environs growing ancient Kamut Khorasan wheat.
Professor Edmond Bordeaux Szekely would mill his own wheat for bread to be served fresh at Rancho La Puerta in the early days. I read this is a booklet about life at the Ranch 1955 that is in the Szekely Library at Rancho La Puerta on the Professor's book section. I studied this book on May 21 while at the Szekely Library.
In my teaching experience at the 2nd Festival of Traditional Medicine of the Americas, I gave many people packets of Kamut (R) International Khorasan wheat to grow.
I believe that this Montana wheat will acclimate to the Mexican climate.
I am growing some here in San Diego in pots.
3- I see a new border project.
This will be a co-project between Mexico's Tecate and California to inspire and win back more millions in Tourist business that is now being lost because of the militarization of the border.
4- I see Tecate becoming known for what it is: A gateway of friendship between the US and Mexico.
Tecate is Mexico's friendliest city. This is a campaign I want to launch.
5- I see a new line of organic beers from the Tecate Brewery.
One is the Professor's Brew.
I am not a beer drinker myself, except that once a year I have some Stone Brewery beer at the Pacific Symposium.
I see Tecate growing organic barley as well as mugwort for this line of organic brew. I see this providing many jobs for the people of Tecate and US unemployed who can work in a coop together on the Tecate side.
Mugwort is an herb that was used to make beer in ancient times.
it is also a good herb that is used in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
6-Tecate Mugwort will become a local industry.
This can be a product sold at the Pacific Symposium.
This mugwort can also be grown at Wild Willow Educational Center.

7- I see a new Carrizo Grande, Arundo Donax, The Giant Reed, becoming a valued growing project in Tecate.
This would follow up from the Portland PGE project where they are growing Arundo Donax, The Giant Reed, as a potential substitute for coal. Arundo is an outstanding Biomass.
Homeland security now is looking for ways to eradicate Arundo Donax.
This plant has more than 102 positive uses.
It is help sacred by the Mayans.

Rather than eradicate the Arundo, harvest it as a crop.
Build a So Cal Biomass processing factory. HIre former military and youth to bring in the local stands of Arundo Donax that is now considered a fire hazard. Do an annual or three month harvest.
8- Explore the many uses of Corrizo (Arundo Donax).
This was once used to make trinkets to sell to tourists. The artisans would harvest the Arundo.
Carrizo is growing on the land of Rancho La Puerta.
I would like to see it harvested here and made into art projects.
9- I see a new project to build a new entry of friendship at the border between Mexico and the US.
This is the Art that goes with this project.
