is up to Good Works!
Roberto Arjona, Director
General Manager, Rancho La Puerta
Roberto Arjona heads a staff of over 400 at North America’s first “destination spa,” as Chief Executive Officer at Rancho La Puerta—founded in 1940 in Tecate, Baja California, Mexico. From its inception, the resort’s mind/body/spirit fitness emphasis has included maintaining a major organic farm on the premises, energy conservation, eco-friendly waste management, and other sustainable methods of providing service to over 6,500 guests a year, all of whom stay one week or more.
Prior to Rancho La Puerta, Roberto Arjona held executive positions at The Lodge at Pebble Beach, California, and The Lodge at Torrey Pines, La Jolla, California. Between ranch time and family time, Roberto Arjona is heavily involved in community services--whether it is working in Tecate’s community gardens, or organizing efforts to help school children conserve water and recycle. In an effort to improve living conditions and increase education Roberto Arjona has introduced English and computer classes as well as environmental and sustainable programs and workshops for the more than 400 staff members. Roberto's primary goal is to be able to provide his staff with additional knowledge and tools so they can assist their families and communities. Currently he is working with the community’s environmental project, The Tecate River Project. Additionally he is working with the local and state governments and the private sector to place Tecate as the leader in alternative energy creation in the region. Roberto serves on the Board of Fundacion La Puerta, of Green Spa Network and is an active member of Destination Spa Group, International Spa Association, Slow Foods and LOHAS.

Info on the Border Crossing and What it Costs in Lost Revenue
BOARDING CROSSING APP!!!
http://traffic.calit2.net/border/border-wait-times.php?type=passenger&port=25...
I see that a good time to cross would be Sunday night around 10 pm.
I would like to go to the Bronner Event on Monday, May 21.
I will leave this open for now.
“Travelers routinely run into traffic jams getting into the United States, especially from the most popular crossing points with Mexico,” said Ganz Chockalingam, a principal development engineer at Calit2 and lead developer on the project. “You may not be able to reduce the congestion, but with a little help from our app, you can make an informed decision about when and where you want to cross the border if time is a factor.”
According to a study by the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) and Caltrans, nearly 340,000 people travel every day through the San Ysidro, Otay Mesa, and Tecate border crossings linking California and Mexico’s Baja California. The study estimates that more than eight million trips across the border are lost because travelers are unwilling to deal with the congestion and an average wait time of forty-five minutes. “This equates to a loss of nearly $1.3 billion in potential revenues, mostly in the retail sector,” SANDAG concluded. “Excessive border waits also are affecting overall regional productivity,” pushing the San Diego region’s total economic loss as high as $2.5 billion each year. In addition, the typical two-hour delays facing trucks at commercial crossings into San Diego County cost the county $455 million in annual revenue from reduced freight activity.

Hi, I blogged about your App and website, Thank You!
The border crossing at Tecate was a nightmare for me back in June of 2007.
It was a delight, Tuesday around noon on May 22, 2012.
I had no traffic whatsoever!
I lost my clutch the last time I crossed in June of 2007.
I had anticipatied going across on Monday May 21, or Sunday night around 10 pm. I waited until Tuesday as advised.
Your app has given me some peace of mind.
I was going so far as to think of renting a tow across the border for $350.00,
just to avoid the $500.00 loss of clutch nightmare I had last time.
