"It's Time to Take Action!" says Deborah Szekely.
It's time to take action.
I've spent 72 years teaching wellness. I've affected the lives of tens of thousands of people -- but Americans are less healthy than ever. We need to own our health, respect and care for our bodies, the home in which we live and die.
It's going to take a cultural revolution -- and political will. For my 90th birthday, my dream is that every person my life has touched will join the Wellness Spring movement. As I travel the country, I'm constantly meeting people and discovering organizations doing incredible work to encourage wellness. I believe this spring we can build a wellness movement that will forever change our country.
But I can't do it alone -- I need your help.

It is my first morning home from a transformational life shifting experience thanks to my stay at Rancho La Puerta.
I am filled with ideas for Plant Your Dream Blogs.
The first thing I am doing this early morning before dawn is to support the wishes of Deborah Szekely, called the Godmother of Wellness, who spoke Monday night at the Ranch.It is dark outside; yet I am listening to birdsong on the rim of the Arosa Canyon, within walking distance of San Diego State University.
One of the most inspiring comments I overheard was when Deborah was giving time to the inspired members of her audience May 21, 2012.
Deborah Szekely was commenting on how she felt.
She said that 90 to her felt like 60.
Deborah, who said she had lived in Washington D.C. for 17 years, stays young through coming up with new ideas.
Well Spring is the latest that has come my way.
