Leaf Baby by mayah (c)2012

This is repurposed from my own art--I made the leaf out of tissue paper, non-bleached wax paper and nontoxic glue. It was originally on a green tissue paper backing, but the tissue paper got holes in it so I reused the art by putting the leaf on top of construction paper and reused corrugated and other cardboard, and added the "baby" photo from an advertisement. I really like that the new human is holding a 5-pointed new spring green leaf, while sitting in an old 5-pointed autumn leaf--showing the life spectrum of birth and death. nontoxic glue, magnet backing.
