Affected by drugs effects

My recovery is aided with drugs.
And, No- my tale does not include the use of street drugs, just in case you thought this would be a juicy story about drug addiction. Sorry, but at least I got your attention.

Do to an injury (severely sprained ankle) I have become drug dependent to manage pain. The e.r. doctor prescribed me Oxycodone and Motrin. The Oxy was great- making be oblivious to and underestimating the severity of my injured foot.
I fully knew that this little love affair with the Oxy was going to be short-lived. So being smarter than the drug- I only took 1/2 at night so I could sleep. Although one night- the pain was too intense to take - so I reached for my depleted supply of Oxy, down the hatch went the rest. AAaaahh, back to sleep I went.
The only arsenal left -Motrin. I sure did miss that good ole Oxy when the Motrin wasnt strong enough to curb my discomfort. So against my livers will- I downed 2 600mg of Motrin. Finally some sweet relief.

At a recent doctors visit, I told the doc of my painful woes, he then told me of an unlikely OTC cocktail that might help. Extra strength Tylenol and Asprin, 2 of each is what I took, and what do you know? It works, pain managed.
