A day in the life of a sprained ankle

To anyone who doesn't know what its like to have a severely sprained ankle- well, let me enlighten you.
(warning: the next paragraphs will be nothing but complaints of pain and personal discomfort)
I would like a lengua burrito- pronto. But, because i can't walk without crutches or drive my vehicle (stick-shift) my wants/desires won't be met.
So i must settle for whats here at home. BUT not even that is easy- i dare anyone to juggle a tray of food with crutches under your arms. Food prep is slightly difficult, especially in a big kitchen.
I am definitely at the mercy of other peoples help and time. If your a fiercely independent person such as the writer of this blog is--add frustration to varying discomfort levels.
There is an old saying, "No Pain, No Gain". At this point No Pain would be a Gain. My injury is 2weeks old - my meds supply is scarily low, the doctors is only 1 day away. Will i or can i make it til then?
Have i captured your sympathy as well as empathy yet? Do you FEEL my pain?? In all honesty - I pray you never do. (only if your my worst enemy)
