Today, I will write Keep The Beet Media Star;s Column for the Space of Love Magazine. How to Help Bees Grow Strong is a No Brainer.

It has been a very dry winter. Our three day festival concluded yesterday afternoon. I came home and set up to do some deep ceremony work. I am convinced that Bees Grow Strong in San Diego now. This is the stand I am taking.

The Weather is backing me up. It has not rained in maybe a month it seems, but I am able to collect some rain this early morning.

I am looking forward to this week. I am near completion of a three to four month cycle of stress around new housemates as well as addressing enforcement pressure on Brush Management here at home and in around the Arosa Canyon Rim. There are two neighbor parcels that still need O.K.'s where we have plants growing.

I feel we are a pretty good place about saving our plants.

I am going to go on now to warm up a bit and then do the
Keep The Beet Column.

HoneyFest San Diego is the region's first event celebrating the crucial role that bees play in sustainable food systems.

The festival promotes awareness of the complex and vital relationship between bees and humans by exploring the benefits of bee products, the art of beekeeping, and the issues around environmental risks to bee populations.

The weekend event offers workshops, fine food, product-sampling, art and performance. Participation in Honefest SD supports the efforts of small-scale beekeepers in San Diego and Kenya.

The event has multiple locations.

San Diego, one of the best places to grow bees...

pesticide use needs to be monitored here and outlawed...

We do not need further chemical warfare on nature is responsible for
decline of bee populations, Keep the beet says... big ag is standing on a faulty foundation...we need many more beekeepers and gardeners, not fewer...
