How to clean baked on enamel on the stove top

I am back from the Pacific Symposium 2011.
Many things to do on my plate and had a delightful time with the documentary maker Marcelo Bermann and stained glass artist Ray Warner today.

Then had a clarifying meeting with Chef Jem, my housemate here at the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community Growing Grounds.

I spent about two hours tonight cleaning the stove top with a microfiber and bon ami.

I made an Art Project out of it.

Then, I boled the enamel part in boiling water to see if that helps.
