ECO JOEY MENDELSOHN WILL HELP STUDENTS ACROSS THE NATION BECOME BIOSMART



Joey was the creator of the Eco-Useable water bottle, and has sponsored numbers of exciting projects including the Luminaries hip hop group and
our very own projects. We know that all the youth in dorms are going to love meeting Joey and starting to use ZeroTree Toilet paper for after the Shit happens. The Shift has definitely happened and now is the time to use

Eco Joey Will Help Students Across Nation become BioSmart with a new program to get the use of ZeroTree toilet paper in to dorms. The proposed launch will be in San DIego, where a number of top sustainability colleges exist, including nearby to the Enchanted Garden San Diego State University
as well as University of San Diego, and University of California San Diego (La Jolla. All three schools have strong sustainability focus.

CONTRACT ON THE TABLE

A contract is on the table now that will likely hook up Eco Joey,
the award winning eco standout with Anthony Russo, one of the Beet Keepers top Sustainability Experts. Anthony has been moving forward to go retail with the new ZeroTree Toilet paper that needs to be in everyone's bathroom.

Anthony, who has an eye for winning eco projects was one of the first to see the potential of Keep The Beet Media Star, the World's FIrst Talking Beet Plant, was to help give youth back their confidence that they can grow their own food. THe Keep The Beet project, where youth grow seeds to the seedling stake in BioSmart Sugar Can Bagasse Pots, is grounding.

Since the Natural Product Expo West in Anaheim last March of 2011, organic alfalfa has been showing up on the West Coast in these wonderful pots made by Anthony Russo's BioSmart as a way of letting youth and adults know that we each need to be an Organic Uprising, Standing Up for Nature's Original Technology. The pots are made from a by-product of sugar cane production.

The ZeroTree Toilet paper, Keep The Beet's favorite of the new EarthSmart- BioSmart Products are now geared up to go retail.

TOILET PAPER FOR AFTER THE SHIFT HAPPENS

For those in the know, and those in sync with the Mayan Calendar that speaks to the end of the world as we know it, October 28, was the official-unofficial last day when the Mayan's said the world would end. Of course, as Keep The Beet points out, what ended were our old unsustainable ways of living outside of Nature.

Now we are entering the Enchanted Garden Era--the 1000 years of year, and each day now is recognizing in our own lives that The Shift has happened. What better way that with ZeroTree, a very user friendly "end" product that is made from the lint of cotton and bamboo fibre.

GOING CLEAN WITH GLOBAL SOAP PROJECT

What happens to used hotel soap?

...I heard from a rep for the Barona Resort & Casino in the San Diego area, who said it used to discard thousands of bars of soap weekly. It signed up with the Global Soap Project and has its housekeepers collect used soap for shipment to the project.

Barona is "excited that there was a way to help reuse the estimated one billion bars of soap the nation's hotel industry tosses ever year," Jay Bart, Barona director of safety, health and environment, says in a statement.

Recycling soap is a hotel-industry trend My colleague Barbara De Lollis wrote about another such organization, Clean the World, in her Hotel Check-In blog. Read about it here. And some lodgings donate soap and toiletries to local charities. Readers, what do you think about such efforts? Do you leave behind slightly used soap or take home new bars and shampoos to give to the needy, as some travelers do?
