I met a crown with a heartache. His name is Patch Adams. I am not talking about Robin Williams here, the man who played America's foremost Medical Doctor in my eyes. I am talking about the real Patch Adams. He is a man who never sold out medicine as practiced by the Hippocrites, the father of medicine. What he has sold out his personal desire, to be a man who was greeted by soulful conversation rather than people asking to be in photos with him.
He choose the path of fame to save modern medicine, and now this elegant and wise doctor wearing a clown suit needs our help. He needs $250,000 at a minimum to save his Dream--a hospital that is now being built but needs to meet the next steps that the physical builders need to continue bringing his dream down to earth.

I met this man in 1993 at the Celebration of Community at Evergreen College. I connected with him. He gave me some thoughts about my arthritis, I remember. He was sincerely interested in me. We played. I remember spontaneously slapping this clown on the face. His response touched me deeply. He thanked me for slapping him. He said something like I needed that. Yesterday, he was asking for donations. I gave him $5.00. IF I were more right on, I would have grabbed a bag and started to pass it. There is at least $250,000 rolling around our pockets at the Natural Product Expo attendees that could go to this giant of a human being.
