I am spending best wishes and good thoughts
this morning to a great ally for myself and
San Diego as a whole.

She is Val of Multimedia Deva,
the creator of the San Diego Urban Connection.

I met Val at the Cultivating Food justice Conference
at San Diego State University in Spring 2010.

We knew we would be working together more
in the future.

The future came into the present a few months ago
when she offered to have me do some blogs for
a expanded Green Living section of my
evolving San DIego Urban connection.


VAL GOES THROUGH MY PLANT YOUR DREAM BLOGS


Val is very insightful.

She went through some of my Plant Your Dream Blogs
on the new Plant Your Dream Blog Site that
is the sister to my popular Curezone site.

She chose to begin to do copy a blog
on David Bronner, who is carrying forward the remarkable
tradition of the Bronner family that has been making soaps
for more than 100 years. The Bronner family is local to
San Diego.

Last month,while cleaning up some things here at
the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community, I came
upon a copy of Dr.Bronner's Magic Soapbox.

Ralph Bronner, who spends a great deal of time
doing Random Acts of Kindness, gave me a copy
of this remarkable video.

It tells the story of Dr. Emanuel Bronner, of the famed
original soap labels that tell the Moral ABC's.

I would see Dr. Bronner over the years at conferences
and had numbers of friends who worked with him.

WITH HIS PEACE WORK

I highly recommend that any one who wants a powerful
healing experience, and possible tears of recognition,
get a copy of Dr. Bronner's Magic Soapbox.

It tells the story of a man who was a devoted and enthusiastic
health advocate who was committed to an insane asylum,
and escaped.

The ideas he had for the world were basically what the world
needs now, including a philosophy of we are ALL ONE.

Dr. Emanuel Bronner was very committed to the health of Planet
Earth, and he, as my own father Solomon, placed his work and
ideal vision above carrying for his children.

Ralph, one son, could felt deserted at times, left in an orphanage,
but grew up to make amends with his dad. Ralph is the main
storyteller of "Dr. Bronner's Magic Soapbox."

The family tradition continues into the next generation.

I have had personal contact with David Bronner, a grandson
of Emanuel. David is the president of the company and also
lives locally in San Diego County.

Both Ralph and David have reached out to support my work
and I am inviting them to sponsor my upcoming Tour of the
East Coast, where I am being raised up I feel, as a national voice
for creating a Tipping Point not only for GMO labeling, but
each of us coming together to find ways to collaborate.

This attitute of collaboration is essential if we are to
move Organic Forward as a movement.

There are forces in the world who have more money than us,
but the ethics expressed through the core values of the
Bronner Family are basic to our success as a movement.


BRONNER FAMILY ETHICS

Among the ethics of the Bronner family are a believe in
Fair Trade. This means helping others and making sure they
are earning a living and receiving fair wage.


Another value is Peace Making.

One of the special pieces on the "Dr. Bronner Magic Soapbox video,
tells the story of David's work in the Palestine-Israel area. David
is supporting farmers who grow olives. These are Moslem, Christian,
and Jewish Farmers.

David is blending oils from the three religions.
Oh my God, what a down to earth way to make peace.

I could go on and on about why the work of the family touches me.

All I can see for now is thanks,
and thanks for supporting my own peacemaking work in
the world.

"Lettuce" grow together.
That is my point of view.

We can find a way.
We all called to do this for the next generations
of Bronners's and farmers in the world.

GMO POLITICAL CHALLENGE

This begins to tell the David Bronner story
and mentions Andrew Kimbrell of the Center for Food Safety.
Andrew has a number of court cases to halt Monsanto Corporation
from doing harm through Genetic Engineering of our Food Supply.

The move to create a Tipping Point to ensure GMO labeling--
to label where GMO's are in our food supply-- are one of the
Seed Dreams I have planted here on the Plant Your Dream Blogs.
