Issues pf Allergies for a friend

I am blown away by tbe proliferation of allergies
these days.
These develop into immune system
chronic conditions.
I know this from my own experience
taking Benadryl as a child, and then
allergy shots.
http://allergies.about.com/od/medicationinformation/a/benadryl.htm
I later developed an
arthritis condition that came from
a suppressed immune sysem
and the inability of my kidneys and liver
to rid themselves of toxins.
We are allergic to many foods today.
There is a widespread allergy response right now
reported in the news from Australia I read about recently

Summary
GM foods are genetically modified using biotechnology. Some GM foods include maize, soybean, oilseed rape (canola), chicory, squash, potato, pineapple and strawberries. GM foods may provide greater resistance to pests and viruses, higher nutritional value and longer shelf life. However, their safety, potential risks and ethical concerns are still being debated. Laws to regulate labelling of GM foods vary.

A variety of foods can be genetically modified using biotechnology – these are known as GM foods. The genetic material may be altered with methods that do not occur naturally - this is known as ‘genetic engineering’. Selected individual genes with specific traits are transferred from one organism to another. Traditional breeding can achieve similar effects, but over a much longer time span. However, traditional breeding cannot achieve the same effects using a transferred gene from a non-related species - this is possible with GM foods.
Genetic engineering and plants
Genetic modification of food is not new. For centuries, food crops and animals have been altered through selective breeding. However, while genes can be transferred during selective plant breeding, the scope for exchanging genetic material is much wider using genetic engineering. In theory, genetic engineering allows genetic material to be transferred between any organism, including between plants and animals. For example, the gene from a fish that lives in very cold seas has been inserted into a strawberry, allowing the fruit to be frost-tolerant. This has not as yet been done for currently available commercial food crops. Concerns with climate change may also lead to consideration of GM food crops that are drought tolerant.
Foods that have been modified
Some foods have been modified to make them resistant to insects and viruses and more able to tolerate herbicides. Crops that have been modified for these purposes in a number of countries, with approval from the relevant authorities, include:
Maize (corn)
Wheat
Rice
Oilseed rape (canola)
Chicory
Squash
Potato
Soybean
Alfalfa
Cotton.
The risks of genetically modified crops
Some concerns that have been raised by scientists, community groups and members of the public include:
New allergens could be inadvertently created - known allergens could be transferred from traditional foods into GM foods. For instance, during laboratory testing, a gene from the Brazil nut was introduced into soybeans. It was found that people with allergies to Brazil nuts could also be allergic to soybeans that had been genetically modified in this way and so the project was ceased. No allergic effects have been found with currently approved GM foods.
HEAVY MEDALS IN COMMERCIAL EGGS
CAUSE ALLERGIC REACTIONS
????
Most people who are allergic to hen's eggs have antibodies which react to one of four proteins in the egg white:[5] ovomucoid, ovalbumin, ovotransferrin, and lysozyme; ovomucoid, also called Gal d 1, is the most common target of immune system attack.[5] The egg yolk contains several potential antigens: livetin, apovitillin, and vosvetin.
Some research on lysozyme and ovotransferrin suggests that, perhaps, one of the causes of the allergy is from the chelating capacity of the proteins with metals, especially those of heavy metals.[6][7][8][9][10] However, little scientific information is available currently on the direct relationships of the heavy metals in hen eggs and egg allergy.

August 15, 2011
This is the happiest day in the Jewish Calendar,
a time called Tu'Av. It is like a Jewish Sadie Hawkins Day.
There is the most delightful wedding reception
I will be going to in a couple hours.
The bride and groom are about to be married
at 3 pm. it is 3:36 now.
Why do I have to be the bringer of bad news?
I was lead to the poem called the Rime of the Ancient Mariner
during the night. That is the story of an old mariner who breaks the laws
of nature. The price he must pay is immense. He stops a marriage
guest outside the festive occasion and tells his story. It is the longest
poem of Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
I would love to be totally in the bliss and joy of this moment.
I was this morning, after weeks of a growth pattern
prepping to do a trial run for Sharon Alexander. We had a very
successful workshop last night with about 30 participants.
Any more in that space would have been too crowded for all the moving
around we did. It was a very healthy turnout.
Launching A New Sacred Foods Project
was a big component.
