Redlands, 3:13 pm, July 1, 2011

The Feng Shui of the Super 8 Redlands
is good.

There are prayers about this place.

It is licensed from Super 8 to a Swami,
I will get his name later, and the two gentlemen
who greet me at the desk are from India.

The room is small, but there are amenities
already here that I generally have to ask for
when I stay at the Super 8 in Anaheim.

The rate is good $45.00 plus tax,
and the University of Redlands is not far away.

I like tha the plug to attach this computer is high off the ground
so I do not have to move some heavy piece of furniture.

The room is dark, and under an alcove, Rm 109
and with the window open on the ground floor I am
looking at a Coke-Cola machines which reminds
me that Seth Goldman, of Organic Honest Tea
is owned by the company that is poisoning and
farming the people of their wits end who drink
this brew.

APOLOGY TO THE EARTH

The ride up took about three hours.
Some traffic toward the end.

I am sweaty and I found myself screaming
for Help numbers of times.

The smog is intense
and the stuff in the air visible.

I have still a broken window on the drivers side
that will not close. It fell in in route to CBS a few weekends
ago.

I am tired and if it were not for the StayActiv
I would be szonked.

The high speed internet connects instantly without
any need for code. Thank you.

I have raw butter pasture fed,
Onion Sprouts from Suzie's,
and ripe blackberries in the frig.

There seems to be some air conditioning running.
I did not turn it on.

I am grateful to be here.

The Aleph Kallah is going on down the street
not far away.

I am on God's Time.

I have not been to an Aleph Kallah since 1997,

I am sweaty.

My T shirt was soggy wet in the back.

It is good to write.

I will go get my clothes from the EG Mobile.

I will shower and lay down for a brief time.

I will then head out to the University of Redlands
to discover why the International Jewish Renewal
Community chose this place.

I hear there are big trees.

So many trees along the way here were suffering.

So sad. So very sad.

I thank the plants at home for caring for me,
and I hope I have left them in good hands.

I am grateful to have arrived.
